     Alice Lee Franck married Dr. Robert Holland Gainey. Alice Lee Franck died in January 2003.

     Dr. Francis French Harrison was born in 1898 at Montclair, NJ. He was the son of Benjamin Vincent Harrison and Josephine French. Dr. Francis French Harrison was graduated in 1920 at Yale University, New Haven, New Haven Co., CT. He married Carlotta Creevey, daughter of George Mason Creevey and Lucy Morris Ellsworth, on 16 August 1924 at Esperanza. Dr. Francis French Harrison was graduated in 1925 at MD; Columbia University, NY. He died on 28 January 1986 at Cooperstown, Ostego Co., NY.

     Margaret Germaine Brundage was born on 18 September 1917 at Lake Forest, IL. She was the daughter of Edward Jackson Brundage and Germaine Vernier. Margaret Germaine Brundage married Dr. Kennedy Creevey, son of George Mason Creevey and Lucy Morris Ellsworth, on 30 May 1938 at Leesburg, VA. Margaret Germaine Brundage died on 23 December 1976 at New Hartford, Litchfield Co., CT, at age 59.

     Cordelia Holcombe was born circa 1826 at Ulster, Bradford Co., PA.¹ She was the daughter of Samuel Benedict Holcombe and Maria Alexander.

     Voleva Holcombe was born circa 1828 at Ulster, Bradford Co., PA.¹ She was the daughter of Samuel Benedict Holcombe and Maria Alexander.

     Minerva Holcombe was born circa 1830 at Ulster, Bradford Co., PA.¹ She was the daughter of Samuel Benedict Holcombe and Maria Alexander.

     William B. Holcombe was born circa 1832 at Ulster, Bradford Co., PA.² He was the son of Samuel Benedict Holcombe and Maria Alexander.

William is recorded n the 1850 census of Ulster Twp., Bradford Co., Pa. as a farmer and in the 1870 Census in Fairvile, Jones Co., IA.


W.B. and Louisa were enumerated in the 1860 Smithfield, Bradford Co., PA, federal census. He was a farmer age 35, she was 26. The only child in the household was Eloise 8.

     Clinton Holcombe was born circa 1835 at Ulster, Bradford Co., PA.² He was the son of Samuel Benedict Holcombe and Maria Alexander.

     Lodeska Holcombe was born circa 1838 at Ulster, Bradford Co., PA.¹ She was the daughter of Samuel Benedict Holcombe and Maria Alexander.

     Samuel Donner Holcombe was born on 28 July 1841 at Ulster, Bradford Co., PA. He was the son of Samuel Benedict Holcombe and Maria Alexander. Samuel Donner Holcombe married Susan Anna Lacock. Samuel Donner Holcombe died on 12 December 1928 at age 87.

Samuel is recorded in the 1870 Census of Fairville, Jones Co., Ia. as a farmer.


Samuel and Susan were enumerated in the 1880 Cedar, Smith Co., KS, federal census. He was a farmer age 38, she was 41. Children in the household were Grace 11, Eugene 9, Purley 7, and Clinton 3. Also listed was step-daughter Josephine Morehouse, 17.

     Edward A. Holcombe was born in 1845 at Ulster, Bradford Co., PA.² He was the son of Samuel Benedict Holcombe and Maria Alexander.

Edward moved about 1868-69 from Jones Co., Ia. to Carthage, Mineral Twp., Jasper Co., Mo., where he is recorded in the 1870 Census as a blacksmith with family; later lived at Orango, Jasper Co.


Edward and Lucinda also had three daughters, unnamed by McPherson.
