     Elizabeth Ellsworth was born on 27 January 1892. She was the daughter of William Webster Ellsworth and Helen Yale Smith. Elizabeth Ellsworth married Dr. Frederick Shand Goucher on 16 July 1913 at Esperanza, New Hartford, Litchfield Co., CT. Elizabeth Ellsworth died on 17 March 1918 at New York City, NY, at age 26.

     Dr. Frederick Shand Goucher was born on 30 September 1888 at Truro, Nova Scotia. He married Elizabeth Ellsworth, daughter of William Webster Ellsworth and Helen Yale Smith, on 16 July 1913 at Esperanza, New Hartford, Litchfield Co., CT. Dr. Frederick Shand Goucher died on 21 August 1973 at Short Hills, NJ, at age 84.

     Miriam Smith was the daughter of William Ansley Smith and Martha Strong Watkins. Miriam Smith married Edward Augustus Ellsworth, son of Henry William Ellsworth and Mary Elizabeth West.

     Annie Ellsworth was born at Lafayette, Tippecanoe Co., IN. She was the daughter of Edward Augustus Ellsworth and Miriam Smith.

     Harriet Pierce Bryant was born on 17 January 1845 at Northampton, Hampshire Co., MA. She married Henry Goodrich Ellsworth, son of Edward Augustus Ellsworth and Jane McCamy, on 26 April 1866 at San Francisco, San Francisco Co., CA. Harriet Pierce Bryant died on 27 January 1926 at Niles, CA, at age 81.

Harriet's parents are unknown to me, however:

Oliver and Susan P. Bryant were enumerated in the 1850 Enfield, Hampshire Co., MA, federal census. He was a merchant, age 47, born in MA; she was 37, also born in MA. Children in the household, all born in MA were Edwin R. 11, Susan 9, Harriet 5, Oliver 4, and William 2.

Oliver was enumerated in the 1860 Lawrence, Essex Co., MA, federal census. He was listed as 47. Children in the household were Susan 18, Harriet 16, and Oliver 14.

Henry and Hattie Ellsworth were enumerated in the 1870 Mission San Jose, Washington Township, Alameda Co., CA, federal census. He was a farmer, age 36, born in Indiana, she was 25, born in Mass. Children in the household were Oliver 3, and Edward 1, both born in CA.

     Oliver Bryant Ellsworth was born on 7 April 1867 at Mission San Jose, CA. He was the son of Henry Goodrich Ellsworth and Harriet Pierce Bryant. Oliver Bryant Ellsworth was graduated in 1888 at AB; University of California. He married Lillian Mastick, daughter of Joseph Mastick and Rosa Fitch. Oliver Bryant Ellsworth was graduated in 1911 at Hastings Law School. He was ELECTION at Mayor, Piedmont, CA. He died on 1 November 1939 at Oakland, CA, at age 72.

     Edward Augustus Ellsworth II was born on 10 July 1869 at Mission San Jose, CA. He was the son of Henry Goodrich Ellsworth and Harriet Pierce Bryant. Edward Augustus Ellsworth II married Lizzie Snyder, daughter of William Snyder and Clarissa Scott, on 2 February 1892. Edward Augustus Ellsworth II married Gertrude Emma Dassel. Edward Augustus Ellsworth II lived in 1939 at Niles, CA. He died on 8 July 1952 at Alameda Co., CA, at age 82.²

     Henry Goodrich Ellsworth Jr. was born on 2 July 1871 at Mission San Jose, CA.² He was the son of Henry Goodrich Ellsworth and Harriet Pierce Bryant. Henry Goodrich Ellsworth Jr. married Olive Pearl Wells, daughter of James Wells and Mary Stevenson, on 23 June 1898. Henry Goodrich Ellsworth Jr. lived in 1939 at Oakland, CA. He died on 11 May 1943 at Alameda Co., CA, at age 71.²

     Jennie Ellsworth was born on 22 July 1873 at Mission San Jose, CA.² She was the daughter of Henry Goodrich Ellsworth and Harriet Pierce Bryant. Jennie Ellsworth was graduated in 1893 at AB; University of California. She married Robert Martin Price, son of Robert Ralph Price and Harriet Wightman, on 12 May 1896. Jennie Ellsworth died on 21 November 1966 at Oakland, Alameda Co., CA, at age 93.³

     Susie Ellsworth was born on 9 September 1875 at Mission San Jose, CA. She was the daughter of Henry Goodrich Ellsworth and Harriet Pierce Bryant. Susie Ellsworth married Albert Royal Oliver on 9 June 1898 at Anaconda, MT. Susie Ellsworth died on 22 May 1925 at San Francisco, San Francisco Co., CA, at age 49.

     Caroline Rankin Ellsworth was born on 26 April 1881 at Niles, CA. She was the daughter of Henry Goodrich Ellsworth and Harriet Pierce Bryant. Caroline Rankin Ellsworth died on 29 August 1901 at age 20.

     Julius Kirke Rose was born on 3 August 1820. He was the son of Rufus Rose and Deborah Hatch. Julius Kirke Rose married Ellen Augusta Ellsworth, daughter of Edward Augustus Ellsworth and Jane McCamy, on 23 May 1855. Julius Kirke Rose died on 23 August 1902 at Saginaw, MI, at age 82.

     Rufus Rose was born in 1777. He married Deborah Hatch, daughter of Joel Hatch and Ruth Gray, in 1819. Rufus Rose died in 1848.

     Deborah Hatch was born in 1789. She was the daughter of Joel Hatch and Ruth Gray. Deborah Hatch married Rufus Rose in 1819. Deborah Hatch died in 1861.

May Rose was born on 1 May 1856 at San Francisco, San Francisco Co., CA. She was the daughter of Julius Kirke Rose and Ellen Augusta Ellsworth. May Rose married Rev. Robert Lucky Bachman, son of Jonathan Bachman and Frances Rhea, on 14 September 1876 at Saginaw, MI. May Rose died on 2 March 1890 at Utica, Oneida Co., NY, at age 33.

She was the daughter of Julius Kirke Rose and Ellen Augusta Ellsworth. Blanche Rose married Samuel Gaty Higgins on 21 April 1880 at Saginaw, MI. Blanche Rose died on 1 November 1936 at Detroit, Wayne Co., MI, at age 78. She was buried at Forest Lawn Cemetery, Saginaw, MI.

     Charlotte joined the DAR in June 1909 as number 72779. At that time she lived on College Avenue in Elmira, NY. She served as president of the American Association of University Women.

Rufus was YMCA Secretary in Elmira and also a pioneer in New York State for 4-H clubs. Charlotte Ellsworth Rose was born on 3 December 1866 at Detriot, MI. She was the daughter of Julius Kirke Rose and Ellen Augusta Ellsworth. Charlotte Ellsworth Rose was graduated at Wellesley College, Wellesley, MA. She married Rufus Clarke Stanley, son of Hannibal Tone Stanley and Cornelia Caroline Miner, on 21 June 1892. Charlotte Ellsworth Rose died on 13 March 1935 at West Gray Street, Elmira, NY, at age 68.

     William James Sexton Jr. was born on 11 June 1916 at Hartford, Hartford Co., CT. He was the son of William James Sexton and Lavinia Hiscock. William James Sexton Jr. married Anne Greenleaf Ellsworth, daughter of Ernest Bradford Ellsworth and Helen Ludentia Day, on 10 June 1939.

     Whitelsey P. Alderman was born in 1833 at OH.^1,2 He was the son of Jarvis Alderman and Charlotte Grant.¹ Whitelsey P. Alderman married Emaline Norton.³ Whitelsey P. Alderman died in 1904.¹

Whitelsey was enumerated in the 1850 Windsor, Ashtabula Co., OH, federal census, in the household of his uncle Alexander. He was 18, a laborer, born in Ohio.

Whitelsey and Emaline were enumerated in the 1860 Windsor, Ashtabula Co., OH, federal census, page 132. He was a farmer, age 27; she was 24. The only child in the household was Elva, 4. Whitelsey's brother Backus, age 22, was also in the household.

     Elizabeth Case was born in 1658 at Windsor, Hartford Co., CT; Charles Case states she was born in either Maspeth Kills or Hartford.² She was the daughter of John Case and Sarah Spencer. Elizabeth Case married Joseph Lewis on 30 April 1674. Elizabeth Case married John Tuller in 1684.² Elizabeth Case died on 9 October 1718.

     Mary Case was born on 22 June 1660 at Windsor, Hartford Co., CT. She was the daughter of John Case and Sarah Spencer. Mary Case married William Alderman in 1677 at Windsor, Hartford Co., CT.² Mary Case married Sergeant James Hillyer, son of John Hillyer and Ann (?), on 30 March 1699 at Simsbury, Hartford Co., CT.³ Mary Case died on 22 August 1725 at Simsbury, Hartford Co., CT, at age 65.⁴

     Juliet and Bradford were double second cousins through both the Ellsworth and the Smiths. Juliet Inness was born on 17 June 1881. She was the daughter of George Inness Jr. and Julia Goodrich Roswell Smith. Juliet Inness married Bradford Ellsworth, son of William Webster Ellsworth and Helen Yale Smith, on 1 December 1904. Juliet Inness and Bradford Ellsworth were divorced. Juliet Inness married Henry Burrows Cox on 25 March 1924. Juliet Inness died at Grass Valley, Nevada Co., CA.

     George Inness Ellsworth was born on 27 December 1905.² He was the son of Bradford Ellsworth and Juliet Inness. George Inness Ellsworth married Edwina Reed Munro, daughter of Edwin Knapp Munro and Florence Reed, on 12 June 1929. George Inness Ellsworth lived in 1940 at Barregat Ranch, CA. He died in October 1973 at Grass Valley, Nevada Co., CA, at age 67.²

George is a descendant of both William and Henry, the twin sons of Oliver.

     Henry Burrows Cox was born on 9 August 1880. He was graduated in 1902 at Yale College, New Haven, New Haven Co., CT. He married Juliet Inness, daughter of George Inness Jr. and Julia Goodrich Roswell Smith, on 25 March 1924.

     Alice Dickson was born on 6 January 1897. She married Bradford Ellsworth, son of William Webster Ellsworth and Helen Yale Smith, on 4 September 1920. Alice Dickson died on 16 April 1950 at New York City, NY, at age 53.

     George Mason Creevey was born on 4 July 1872 at Hope, Hamilton Co., NY. He was the son of Henry Arthur Creevey and Polly Maria Mason. George Mason Creevey married Lucy Morris Ellsworth, daughter of William Webster Ellsworth and Helen Yale Smith, on 5 September 1901 at Esperanza, New Hartford, Litchfield Co., CT. George Mason Creevey died in 1945.

     Henry Arthur Creevey was the son of George Chapman Creevey and Margaret Sinclair. Henry Arthur Creevey married Polly Maria Mason, daughter of Sampson Mason and Maria Ann Yaw.

     Polly Maria Mason was the daughter of Sampson Mason and Maria Ann Yaw. Polly Maria Mason married Henry Arthur Creevey, son of George Chapman Creevey and Margaret Sinclair.

     Carlotta Creevey was born on 13 September 1902 at New York City, NY. She was the daughter of George Mason Creevey and Lucy Morris Ellsworth. Carlotta Creevey was graduated at Smith College, Northampton, MA. She married Dr. Francis French Harrison, son of Benjamin Vincent Harrison and Josephine French, on 16 August 1924 at Esperanza. Carlotta Creevey died on 17 September 1991 at Cooperstown, Ostego Co., NY, at age 89. She was buried at Lakewood Cemetery, Cooperstown, Ostego Co., NY.

Dr. Harrison was a corporal in the 135th field Artillery, 37th Division in 1918. He served again in World War II. from 1942 to 1946 he was a full colonel, in charge of the 33rd General Hospital which was located in North Africa, then in Rome, and then in Livorno, Italy.

Dr. Kennedy Creevey was born on 13 July 1905 at New York City, NY. He was the son of George Mason Creevey and Lucy Morris Ellsworth. Dr. Kennedy Creevey was graduated in 1926 at Yale University, New Haven, New Haven Co., CT. He was graduated in 1930 at Columbia University, New York City, NY. He married Margaret Germaine Brundage, daughter of Edward Jackson Brundage and Germaine Vernier, on 30 May 1938 at Leesburg, VA. Dr. Kennedy Creevey died on 14 March 1973 at Troy, NY, at age 67.

     Eileen Creevey lived at Esperanza, 511 Town Hill Road, New Hartford, CT. She was born on 20 July 1910 at New York City, NY. She was the daughter of George Mason Creevey and Lucy Morris Ellsworth. Eileen Creevey was graduated in 1932 at AB; Smith College, Northampton, MA. She married Dr. Newman Arnold Hall, son of Rev. Homer Maxwell Hall and Susan Newman, on 14 August 1938 at Esperanza, "Missing Place" no. 6425.

     Jedediah Case was born on 20 March 1733 at Simsbury, Hartford Co., CT. He was the son of Joseph Case and Hannah Humphrey. Jedediah Case married Mercy Hart, daughter of Samuel Hart and Elizabeth Thompson, on 10 May 1758 at West Avon Congregational Church, Simsbury, Hartford Co., CT. Jedediah Case died on 11 January 1818 at Simsbury, Hartford Co., CT, at age 84.

Jedediah enlisted from Simsbury as a private in the regiment of Connecticut militia.

     Mercy Hart was born on 10 January 1737. She was the daughter of Samuel Hart and Elizabeth Thompson. Mercy Hart married Jedediah Case, son of Joseph Case and Hannah Humphrey, on 10 May 1758 at West Avon Congregational Church, Simsbury, Hartford Co., CT. Mercy Hart died on 16 February 1826 at Simsbury, Hartford Co., CT, at age 89.
