When she was in High School she was very active in 4H work, was State Health Champion in 1929, and placed second in the National in Chicago. She was sent as Nebraska Representative to Washington, D.C. in November, 1929.
Her hobby is P.T.A. activities. She has been exceptionally active in State P.T.A. affairs, and being a state officer was recognized at the National Convention in Cincinnati in 1957, for her outstanding work on the P.T.A. Magazine. 3

Robert graduated from the University of Nebraska, College of Medicine, in 1940. He did post graduate work with Harvard service at Boston City Hospital and in the Lahey Clinic, Boston, Massachusetts.
He was a Diplomate American Board of Internal Medicine; Fellow, American College of Physicians, Trustee of Nebraska, Heart Association, Trustee, Nebraska Chapter American Rheumatism Association and Arthritis Foundation; Trustee Nebraska Diabetes Association, President from 1956-1957; Member American Medical Association and Component Societies; Member Omaha Midwest Clinical Society - Chairman of Medical Section in 1954; Assistant Professor of Internal Medicine, university of Nebraska College of Medicine; Medical Director of the Service Life and Health Insurance Company, Omaha, Neb; Associate Director of The Service Life and Health Insurance Company, Omaha, Nebraska; Member of Senior Staff, Nebraska Methodist Hospital and bishop Clarkson Memorial Hospital and the University Hospital, all of Omaha, Nebraska; he has been engaged in the Practice and Diagnosis of medicine in Omaha since 1947.
In World War II, he served in the United States Army Medical Corps, progressing from 1st Lieutenant to Major, with overseas service in the European Theater of Operations, with the 98th General Hospital, 1942-1946.
He is a member os several Fraternities; Delta Upsilon, Theta Nu (Honorary), Phi Rho sigma and alpha Omega Alpha (Honorary). His hobbies are golf, swimming, boating, bowling, dancing, traveling and music. He plays both the saxophone and piano.
Roberta is artistic, paints beautifully, and is also good at golf, having won several tournament trophies. 3
