A brief service was held at the home on Sunday afternoon at 2:00, conducted by Rev. Daschler. The beautiful flowers spoke louder than words the heartfelt sympathy of themany friends. Harry E. Holcomb, son of John and Bessie Holcomb, was born in Verdon, SD, in 1891, and grew to manhood on his father's farm. He passed away suddenly at his home at 6807 Terrace Court, Wauwtosa, July 11, at the age of 53 years. He was united in marriage to Miss Marie Kirshbaum of Sious City, Iowa. He was a member of Church of the Redeemer and the American Legion Post No. 1, having served in World War I. He leaves to mourn his loss his wife, Marie, and Verna dn Roy Holcomb; Mrs. Vera aged mother, Mrs. John Holcomb, Polzien of Charter Oak, Iowa and Hayes of Minnesota, and Phil of Groton, SD.


The funeral was held from the Church of the Redeemer on Friday at 2pm. He was in state at the funeral home of I.W. O'Boyle Co. Interment was at Wisconsin Memorial Park.
