     Solomon Towslee was born on 30 October 1783 at Nine Partners, Dutchess Co., NY. He was the son of Gideon Towslee and Anna Moore. Solomon Towslee married Betsey Barber, daughter of Joseph Barber and Leah Grover. Solomon Towslee died on 18 December 1856 at Pownal, VT, at age 73.
