     Vernon Curtiss Ensign was born on 25 June 1910 at Hanford, Kings Co., CA.^1,2 He died on 26 June 1910 at Hanford, Kings Co., CA.¹ He was the son of George Curtis Ensign and Amarilla Hackett.¹

     Naomi Helen Ensign was born on 22 October 1911 at Hanford, Kings Co., CA.¹ She was the daughter of George Curtis Ensign and Amarilla Hackett.¹ Naomi Helen Ensign died on 21 October 1928 at Dinuba, Tulare Co., CA, at age 16.¹

     Robert M. Krogh was born on 6 March 1917 at Pendleton, Umatilla Co., OR.¹ He was the son of Henry H. Krogh and Louise Burr.¹ Robert M. Krogh married Shirley Ellen Ensign, daughter of Walter Calvin Holcomb Ensign and Norma Benedict, on 3 September 1939. Robert M. Krogh died on 21 March 1991 at Liberty Lake, Spokane Co., WA, at age 74.²

     Dorcas Webster was born on 2 February 1716/17 at New Hartford, Litchfield Co., CT.¹ She was the daughter of Jonthan Webster and Esther Judd. Dorcas Webster married Eliphalet Ensign, son of David Ensign and Hannah Smith, on 12 February 1739/40.

     Samuel Ensign was born on 6 September 1745 at New Hartford, Litchfield Co., CT. He was the son of Eliphalet Ensign and Dorcas Webster. Samuel Ensign died in 1816 or 1817 at River Creek, Huron Co., OH.

     Seba Ensign was born on 24 September 1775 at New Hartford, Litchfield Co., CT.¹ He was the son of Samuel Ensign and Mary Ives.¹ Seba Ensign married Jane Austin in 1806 at NY. Seba Ensign died on 18 March 1864 at OH at age 88.¹

     Jane Austin was born on 20 July 1785. She married Seba Ensign, son of Samuel Ensign and Mary Ives, in 1806 at NY. Jane Austin died on 4 August 1862 at age 77.

     Seba Ensign was born on 10 February 1823. He was the son of Seba Ensign and Jane Austin. Seba Ensign married Almira Smith on 28 May 1846. Seba Ensign died on 10 February 1888 at San Jose, Santa Clara Co., CA, at age 65; Ensign shows the death to be in San Jose in one place and in Mesopotamia, OH, in another.

     Almira Smith was born on 26 April 1826. She married Seba Ensign, son of Seba Ensign and Jane Austin, on 28 May 1846. Almira Smith died on 10 December 1906 at age 80.

     Frank C. Ensign was born on 1 November 1852 at Mesopotamia, Trumbull Co., OH.¹ He was the son of Seba Ensign and Almira Smith.¹ Frank C. Ensign married Jessie A. F. Holcombe, daughter of Charles Franklin Holcombe and Hattie Augusta Brown, on 28 May 1882 at Cleveland, Cuyahoga Co., OH.² Frank C. Ensign died on 11 January 1933 at Los Angeles, Los Angeles Co., CA, at age 80.³

     Jessie A. F. Holcombe was born on 23 November 1860 at Cleveland, Cuyahoga Co., OH.^1,2,3,4 She was the daughter of Charles Franklin Holcombe and Hattie Augusta Brown.⁵ Jessie A. F. Holcombe married Frank C. Ensign, son of Seba Ensign and Almira Smith, on 28 May 1882 at Cleveland, Cuyahoga Co., OH.³ Jessie A. F. Holcombe died on 8 September 1941 at Los Angeles, Los Angeles Co., CA, at age 80.³

     John Ensign was born on 21 February 1694/95 at Hartford, Hartford Co., CT.^1,2 He was the son of Thomas Ensign and Hannah Shepard.¹ John Ensign married Elizabeth Dickenson on 13 May 1719.² John Ensign died on 16 November 1776 at age 81.^1,2

     Elizabeth Dickenson was born on 25 June 1698 at Stratford, CT.¹ She married John Ensign, son of Thomas Ensign and Hannah Shepard, on 13 May 1719.¹ Elizabeth Dickenson died on 5 July 1758 at Hartford, Hartford Co., CT, at age 60.¹

     Mary Sedgwick was born on 29 April 1726. She married John Ensign, son of John Ensign and Elizabeth Dickenson, on 6 June 1746. Mary Sedgwick died on 10 February 1805 at age 78.

     John Ensign was baptized on 18 January 1747/48. He was the son of John Ensign and Mary Sedgwick. John Ensign married Rhoda Lee on 14 November 1771. John Ensign died on 23 March 1824 at age 76.

     Rhoda Lee was born on 13 February 1753. She married John Ensign, son of John Ensign and Mary Sedgwick, on 14 November 1771. Rhoda Lee died on 2 April 1812 at age 59.

     Ely Ensign was born on 8 January 1778.¹ He was the son of John Ensign and Rhoda Lee.¹ Ely Ensign married Lucy Dean on 29 December 1805. Ely Ensign died on 26 July 1853 at Canaan, Litchfield Co., CT, at age 75.¹

     Lucy Dean was born on 4 January 1787. She married Ely Ensign, son of John Ensign and Rhoda Lee, on 29 December 1805. Lucy Dean died on 24 November 1867 at age 80.

     Sidney Ensign was born on 4 September 1807. He was the son of Ely Ensign and Lucy Dean. Sidney Ensign married Clarinda Prentice, daughter of Rev. Charles Prentice and Clarinda Parmerlee, on 13 January 1833. Sidney Ensign died on 7 September 1893 at Huntsville, Canaan, CT, at age 86.

     Clarinda Prentice was born on 29 October 1810. She was the daughter of Rev. Charles Prentice and Clarinda Parmerlee. Clarinda Prentice married Sidney Ensign, son of Ely Ensign and Lucy Dean, on 13 January 1833. Clarinda Prentice died on 15 July 1857 at age 46.

     Charles Lee Ensign was born on 11 January 1839.¹ He was the son of Sidney Ensign and Clarinda Prentice.¹ Charles Lee Ensign married Irene J. Holcombe, daughter of Nelson Holcombe and Charlotte Beckley, on 5 June 1865. Charles Lee Ensign died on 22 April 1888 at Huntsville, Canaan, CT, at age 49.¹

     Irene J. Holcombe was born circa 1844.¹ She was the daughter of Nelson Holcombe and Charlotte Beckley. Irene J. Holcombe married Charles Lee Ensign, son of Sidney Ensign and Clarinda Prentice, on 5 June 1865.

     Nelson Holcombe was born on 11 January 1811.¹ He was the son of David Holcombe and Sarah Tubbs. Nelson Holcombe married Charlotte Beckley on 30 August 1831.¹ Nelson Holcombe died on 11 December 1862 at age 51.¹

     Charlotte Beckley was also known as Charlotte Bulkley. She was born say 1810 at CT.¹ She married Nelson Holcombe, son of David Holcombe and Sarah Tubbs, on 30 August 1831.¹

     Mattie Thacher was born on 19 October 1883 at Chatham, Medina Co., OH.¹ She was the daughter of Charles Phelps Thacher and Lida Emma Packard.¹ Mattie Thacher died on 26 January 1884 at Chatham, Medina Co., OH.¹

     Sarah Faye Thacher was born on 20 April 1889 at Gibbon, Buffalo Co., NE.¹ She was the daughter of Charles Phelps Thacher and Lora Esther Davis.¹
