     Carlos was a tanner, Windham and Maplehurst, NY, and Lehigh Tannery, PA. Carlos P. Holcombe was born on 22 June 1807 at Granby, Hartford Co., CT.^1,2 He was the son of Abel Holcombe and Elizabeth Pinney.^1,2 Carlos P. Holcombe married Sarah A. Hitchcock, daughter of Thomas Hitchcock and Anna Tuttle, on 11 November 1852.³ Carlos P. Holcombe died on 23 February 1876 at age 68.^1,2

     Sarah A. Hitchcock was born on 7 March 1821.¹ She was the daughter of Thomas Hitchcock and Anna Tuttle. Sarah A. Hitchcock married Carlos P. Holcombe, son of Abel Holcombe and Elizabeth Pinney, on 11 November 1852.¹

     John was a physician in Athens, PA. Dr. John T. Holcombe was born on 2 April 1857.¹ He was the son of Carlos P. Holcombe and Sarah A. Hitchcock.¹ Dr. John T. Holcombe married Grace Carter.

     Thomas Hitchcock was born on 16 May 1780. He married Anna Tuttle on 28 May 1815. Thomas Hitchcock died on 22 February 1866 at age 85.

     Anna Tuttle was born on 30 June 1784. She married Thomas Hitchcock on 28 May 1815. Anna Tuttle died on 29 October 1852 at age 68.

     Grace Carter was born in 1860. She married Dr. John T. Holcombe, son of Carlos P. Holcombe and Sarah A. Hitchcock. Grace Carter died in 1910.

     Max Holcombe was the son of Dr. John T. Holcombe and Grace Carter. Max Holcombe died young.

     Aneta Holcombe died young. She was the daughter of Dr. John T. Holcombe and Grace Carter.

     Dr. Carlos P. Holcombe II was born on 17 September 1882.¹ He was the son of Dr. John T. Holcombe and Grace Carter.¹

     Harriet Holcombe was born circa 1797.¹ She was the daughter of Elijah Holcombe and Mary Smith.¹ Harriet Holcombe married Reuben Cook, son of Abner Cook Jr. and Margaret Cook, on 17 February 1820.¹

     Reuben Cook was born on 28 March 1795 at Colebrook, Litchfield Co., CT.¹ He was the son of Abner Cook Jr. and Margaret Cook. Reuben Cook married Harriet Holcombe, daughter of Elijah Holcombe and Mary Smith, on 17 February 1820.¹ Reuben Cook died on 31 December 1865 at Windsor, Hartford Co., CT, at age 70.¹

     Sylvester F. Cook was born circa 1843 at Colebrook, Litchfield Co., CT.¹ He was the son of Reuben Cook and Harriet Holcombe.¹ Sylvester F. Cook died on 16 February 1890 at Hartland, Hartford Co., CT.¹

     Moses G. Cook was born on 30 May 1875 at Hartland, Hartford Co., CT.¹ He was the son of Sylvester F. Cook and Laura Snyder.¹ Moses G. Cook died on 23 April 1940 at Winsted, Litchfield Co., CT, at age 64.¹

     Wesley W. Cook was born on 13 August 1898 at Winsted, Litchfield Co., CT.¹ He was the son of Moses G. Cook and Alice E. Williams.¹ Wesley W. Cook married Mildred Corintha Parsons, daughter of Edward Kingsley Parsons and Carra Mary Chapin, in June 1934.¹ Wesley W. Cook died on 14 September 1954 at Veterans Hospital, Newington, CT, at age 56.¹

     Mildred Corintha Parsons was born on 10 November 1905 at Southampton, MA.¹ She was the daughter of Edward Kingsley Parsons and Carra Mary Chapin. Mildred Corintha Parsons married Wesley W. Cook, son of Moses G. Cook and Alice E. Williams, in June 1934.¹ Mildred Corintha Parsons died on 15 August 1997 at Madrid, Boone Co., IA, at age 91.

Mildred Parsons, 91, of Easthampton and southampton, MA, died Friday in Madrid, IA. She retired as supervisor from Liberty Mutual Insurance in Hartford in 1970. She was a member of the Congregational Church in southampton and was a member of the church's Ladies Aid, Missionary Society and Senior Editor for their paper. She leaves a son, Donald Cook of Madrid, IA; two grandchildren and two great-grandsons. She was predeceased by a daughter, Eleanor Cook and a son, Edward Cook in Hartford's Ringling Brothers BArnum and Bailey Circus Fire July 6, 1944. The remains of the girl were identified just a few years ago. The funeral service will be Saturday, 1:30 p.m. at Mitchell Funeral Home, Easthampton, MA. Burial: Center Cemetery, Southampton, MA.

     Eleanor Emily Cook was born on 17 March 1936 at Manchester, Hartford Co., CT.¹ She was the daughter of Wesley W. Cook and Mildred Corintha Parsons.¹ Eleanor Emily Cook died on 6 July 1944 at Circus Fire, Hartford, Hartford Co., CT, at age 8.¹

Eleanor was an unidentified victim in the famous 1944 Circus Fire in Hartford. When she was finally identified, Donna Holt Siemiatkoski prepared a detailed genealogy.

Eleanor's mother was horribly burned in the fire and as a result, the correct identification was not made. The complete story is in the June 1994 issue of Connecticut Nutmegger.

     Margaret Cook was born on 25 April 1764 at Windsor, Hartford Co., CT.¹ She was the daughter of Noah Cook and Lydia Westland.¹ Margaret Cook married Abner Cook Jr., son of Abner Cook and Ann Hoskins.¹

     Abner Cook Jr. was born on 13 November 1765 at Windsor, Hartford Co., CT.¹ He was the son of Abner Cook and Ann Hoskins.¹ Abner Cook Jr. married Margaret Cook, daughter of Noah Cook and Lydia Westland.¹

     Mindwell Edwards was born on 11 June 1694 at Northampton, MA.¹ She married Noah Parsons, son of Joseph Parsons Jr. and Elizabeth Strong, on 17 January 1712 at Northampton, MA.¹ Mindwell Edwards died on 17 March 1775 at Northampton, MA, at age 80.¹

     Jemima Parsons was born on 17 November 1713.¹ She was the daughter of Noah Parsons and Mindwell Edwards.¹ Jemima Parsons married Samuel Kingsley on 27 December 1739.¹ Jemima Parsons died on 24 January 1784 at Southampton, MA, at age 70.¹

     Samuel Kingsley was born on 28 November 1709 at Northampton, MA.¹ He married Jemima Parsons, daughter of Noah Parsons and Mindwell Edwards, on 27 December 1739.¹ Samuel Kingsley died on 19 August 1781 at Northampton, MA, at age 71.¹

     Enos Kingsley was born on 16 October 1740 at Southampton, MA.¹ He was the son of Samuel Kingsley and Jemima Parsons.¹ Enos Kingsley married Abigail Pomeroy, daughter of Lt. Daniel Pomeroy and Rachel Mosely, on 22 December 1763.¹ Enos Kingsley died on 1 December 1822 at age 82.¹

     Abigail Pomeroy was born on 19 September 1739.¹ She was the daughter of Lt. Daniel Pomeroy and Rachel Mosely. Abigail Pomeroy married Enos Kingsley, son of Samuel Kingsley and Jemima Parsons, on 22 December 1763.¹ Abigail Pomeroy died on 8 January 1821 at Northampton, MA, at age 81.¹

     Sophia Kingsley was born on 25 October 1784 at Northampton, MA.¹ She was the daughter of Enos Kingsley and Abigail Pomeroy.¹ Sophia Kingsley married Theodore Parsons, son of Isaac Parsons Jr. and Mindwell King, on 14 July 1818.¹ Sophia Kingsley died on 26 May 1867 at age 82.¹

     Theodore Parsons was born on 11 January 1781 at Southampton, MA.¹ He was the son of Isaac Parsons Jr. and Mindwell King. Theodore Parsons married Sophia Kingsley, daughter of Enos Kingsley and Abigail Pomeroy, on 14 July 1818.¹ Theodore Parsons died on 1 June 1854 at Southampton, MA, at age 73.¹

     Isaac Parsons was born on 30 December 1823 at Southampton, MA.¹ He was the son of Theodore Parsons and Sophia Kingsley.¹ Isaac Parsons married Rachel Corintha Edwards, daughter of Luther Edwards Jr. and Rachel Searl, on 2 October 1850.¹

     Rachel Corintha Edwards was born on 25 June 1825 at Chester, MA.¹ She was the daughter of Luther Edwards Jr. and Rachel Searl.¹ Rachel Corintha Edwards married Isaac Parsons, son of Theodore Parsons and Sophia Kingsley, on 2 October 1850.¹

     Edward Kingsley Parsons was born on 27 March 1866 at Southampton, MA.¹ He was the son of Isaac Parsons and Rachel Corintha Edwards.¹ Edward Kingsley Parsons married Carra Mary Chapin, daughter of William Day Chapin and Emily McKinstry Chapin, on 26 October 1892 at Chicopee, MA.¹ Edward Kingsley Parsons died on 7 December 1925 at morning worship at First Church, Southampton, MA, at age 59.¹

     Carra Mary Chapin was born on 22 February 1870 at Chicopee, MA.¹ She was the daughter of William Day Chapin and Emily McKinstry Chapin.¹ Carra Mary Chapin married Edward Kingsley Parsons, son of Isaac Parsons and Rachel Corintha Edwards, on 26 October 1892 at Chicopee, MA.¹ Carra Mary Chapin died on 15 July 1910 at Southampton, MA, at age 40.¹

     William Day Chapin was born on 31 October 1823 at Chicopee, MA.¹ He was the son of William Chapin III and Lucy Day.¹ William Day Chapin married Emily McKinstry Chapin, daughter of Titus Chapin and Emily McKinstry, on 8 December 1859.¹ William Day Chapin died on 27 October 1899 at Chicopee, MA, at age 75.¹

     Emily McKinstry Chapin was born on 1 April 1835.¹ She was the daughter of Titus Chapin and Emily McKinstry.¹ Emily McKinstry Chapin married William Day Chapin, son of William Chapin III and Lucy Day, on 8 December 1859.¹ Emily McKinstry Chapin died on 4 July 1908 at age 73.¹

     Luther Edwards Jr. was born on 16 December 1792 at Southampton, MA.¹ He married Rachel Searl on 28 August 1817 at Chester, MA.¹

     Rachel Searl was born on 23 December 1793 at Chester, MA.¹ She married Luther Edwards Jr. on 28 August 1817 at Chester, MA.¹

     William Chapin III was born on 23 May 1783 at Chicopee Center, MA.¹ He married Lucy Day.¹ William Chapin III died on 18 January 1862 at Chicopee Center, MA, at age 78.¹

     Lucy Day was born on 24 August 1785.¹ She married William Chapin III.¹ Lucy Day died on 17 June 1861 at Chicopee Center, MA, at age 75.¹

     Titus Chapin was born on 15 May 1801 at Chicopee, MA.¹ He married Emily McKinstry.¹ Titus Chapin died on 17 June 1865 at Chicopee, MA, at age 64.¹

     Emily McKinstry was born on 8 April 1806.¹ She married Titus Chapin.¹ Emily McKinstry died on 14 October 1842 at age 36.¹

     Rachel Mosely was born on 11 September 1715 at Westfield, Hampden Co., MA.¹ She married Lt. Daniel Pomeroy, son of Hon. Major Ebenezer Pomeroy and Sarah King.¹ Rachel Mosely died on 1 February 1797 at Northampton, Hampshire Co., MA, at age 81.¹

     Abner Cook was born on 6 May 1737 at Wintonbury (now Bloomfield), CT.¹ He was the son of Richard Cook and Martha Evins.¹ Abner Cook married Ann Hoskins, daughter of John Hoskins III and Thankful Evins, on 8 February 1762.¹ Abner Cook died circa 1818 at Norfolk, Litchfield Co., CT.¹

     Ann Hoskins was born on 8 December 1743.¹ She was the daughter of John Hoskins III and Thankful Evins.¹ Ann Hoskins married Abner Cook, son of Richard Cook and Martha Evins, on 8 February 1762.¹ Ann Hoskins died in 1829.¹

     Richard Cook was born on 30 August 1703 at Windsor, Hartford Co., CT.¹ He was the son of Nathaniel Cook Jr. and Lydia Brooks.¹ Richard Cook married Martha Evins, daughter of Samuel Evins, on 11 April 1722.¹ Richard Cook died on 5 December 1760 at Wintonbury (now Bloomfield), CT, at age 57.¹

     Martha Evins was born circa 1702.¹ She was the daughter of Samuel Evins.¹ Martha Evins married Richard Cook, son of Nathaniel Cook Jr. and Lydia Brooks, on 11 April 1722.¹ Martha Evins died on 29 March 1762 at Wintonbury (now Bloomfield), CT.¹

     John Hoskins III was born on 22 October 1713.¹ He married Thankful Evins, daughter of Samuel Evins, on 15 June 1735.¹ John Hoskins III died on 5 May 1777 at Wintonbury (now Bloomfield), CT, at age 63.¹

     Thankful Evins was born on 31 March 1712.¹ She was the daughter of Samuel Evins. Thankful Evins married John Hoskins III on 15 June 1735.¹ Thankful Evins died on 23 April 1753 at age 41.¹
