Levi and Victoria M. were enmerated in the 1910 Evergreen, Sanilac Co., MI, federal census. He was a farmer age 43, she was 38. They had 8 children, 5 still living. Children in the household were James A. 18, Ethel M. 8, Clare M. 6, Vernon H. 4, and Samuel L. 1 year 9 months.

     Infant Holcombe was born on 27 May 1880.¹ Infant Holcombe died; young, unnamed. Infant Holcombe was the child of Lyman Holcombe and Martha Beardsley.¹

Sarah Loomis died on 25 December 1754 at Colchester, New London Co., CT, at age 32.

Terry Reigel has pointed out that in 1908 Elisha Loomis wrote that Sarah daughter of Stephen and Esther (Colt) Loomis also married Michael Taintor.

He concluded: "There were two women named Sarah Loomis in 18th century Connecticut, second cousins once removed, who are named in various published and online genealogies as the wife of Michael Taintor and Jonathan Willard. One even shows both of them as the wife of Taintor. This Sarah was one; the other was Sarah, daughter of Stephen and Esther (Colt) Loomis, who was born in 1711 in Windsor. I conclude that this Sarah was actually the wife of Michael and Jonathan, and that sources showing the other are all based on an error in the Loomis genealogy confusing the two. I find the genealogies supporting this conclusion to be more compelling, together with the fact that both Michael and Jonathan lived in Colchester and the age of the younger Sarah more consistent with a first marriage in 1745."
