     Theresa E. Ashpole was born on 28 December 1911 at Clarion, Wright Co., IA. She married Frederick Ralph Holcombe, son of Frederick Charles Holcombe and Mary Vaughn Parrish, circa 1921.¹ Theresa E. Ashpole died in March 1974 at Albany, Whiteside Co., IL, at age 62.

     John Rockwell was born on 31 May 1673 at Windsor, Hartford Co., CT.¹ He was the son of Samuel Rockwell and Mary Norton.¹ John Rockwell married Anne Skinner.² John Rockwell died on 30 September 1741 at age 68.

     Anne Skinner was born in 1684.¹ She married John Rockwell, son of Samuel Rockwell and Mary Norton.¹ Anne Skinner died on 1 April 1756.¹

     Hiram Collins Hayden was born on 11 December 1831. He was the son of David Ellsworth Hayden and Lucinda Cooley.

     A music teacher at Lester, MI (1871). Charlotte Calista Hayden was born on 4 January 1835.¹ She was the daughter of David Ellsworth Hayden and Lucinda Cooley.¹

     Hector is by occpation a builder. Her served through the war 1861-1865, in a cavalry regiment. Jabez Hayden. Hector Childs Hayden was born on 20 April 1841 at Pompey, Onondaga Co., NY.¹ He was the son of David Ellsworth Hayden and Lucinda Cooley.¹ Hector Childs Hayden married Amelia M. Jones on 31 October 1866.

     Amelia M. Jones married Hector Childs Hayden, son of David Ellsworth Hayden and Lucinda Cooley, on 31 October 1866. Amelia M. Jones died on 5 April 1878.

     Clara Hayden was born on 27 March 1872. She was the daughter of Hector Childs Hayden and Amelia M. Jones. Clara Hayden died on 10 June 1876 at age 4.

     Cornelia Maria Hayden was born on 3 June 1836 at Onondaga Co., NY.¹ She was the daughter of Ashbel Shepherd Hayden and Cynthia Doubleday.¹

     Hiram Lucien Hayden was born on 1 July 1838 at Onondaga Co., NY.¹ He was the son of Ashbel Shepherd Hayden and Cynthia Doubleday.¹ Hiram Lucien Hayden married Fanny Barnard on 22 October 1871 at Chickasaw Co., IA. Hiram Lucien Hayden died on 16 November 1919 at age 81. He was buried at Rose Hill Cemetery, Fredericksburg, Chickasaw Co., IA.

     Fanny Barnard was born on 15 January 1849. She married Hiram Lucien Hayden, son of Ashbel Shepherd Hayden and Cynthia Doubleday, on 22 October 1871 at Chickasaw Co., IA. Fanny Barnard died on 27 February 1935 at Waterloo, Black Hawk Co., IA, at age 86. She was buried on 1 March 1935 at Rose Hill Cemetery, Fredericksburg, Chickasaw Co., IA.

     William enlisted in the 9th NY Heavy Artillery, and died of sickness at Washngton, DC. William Henry Hayden was born on 23 January 1841 at Onondaga Co., NY.¹ He was the son of Ashbel Shepherd Hayden and Cynthia Doubleday.¹ William Henry Hayden died in February 1864 at Washington, DC, at age 23.¹

     Enlisted in the 4th Wisconsin Cavalry, Nov 19, 1863, discharged; May 28, 1864. Philotus A. Hayden was born on 1 November 1846 at Onondaga Co., NY. He was the son of Ashbel Shepherd Hayden and Elizabeth Fish.

     George was a farmer. Jabez Hayden gives his birth alternately as 29 May 1850 in Onondaga Co., NY; and 29 Nov 1850 in Henry Co., IL. George Melville Hayden was born on 29 May 1850 at Onondaga Co., NY. He was the son of Ashbel Shepherd Hayden and Elizabeth Fish.

     Hugh Philotus Hayden was born on 7 December 1878 at Garden Valley, WI. He was the son of George Melville Hayden and Berthia A. Holmes.

     William Mortimer Hayden was born on 21 July 1882 at Cornelia, IA. He was the son of George Melville Hayden and Berthia A. Holmes.

     Earle Holmes Hayden was born on 24 November 1883 at Cornelia, IA. He was the son of George Melville Hayden and Berthia A. Holmes.

     Mary A. Broughton married Philotas Hayden, son of Abijah Hayden and Orinda Shepherd, in 1830. Mary A. Broughton died on 1 June 1848.

     Eliza Burk married Philotas Hayden, son of Abijah Hayden and Orinda Shepherd, in 1854. Eliza Burk died on 24 July 1877.

     Charles received a liberal education at the University of Michigan, was a thorough student and a good lawyer. He enlisted in the Second Regiment Michigan Volunteers, was promoted to Second Lieutenant, First Lieutenant, and finally to Lieutenant-Colonel, July 3, 1863, for gallantry on the field at Jackson, Miss. and died eight months later from wounds received in that battle. He was a young man of great promise, and his untimely death was a sad blow to his father and friends. --Edwin V. Hayden, 1884 Jabez Hayden. Colonel Charles B. Hayden was born in December 1834 at Brandon, Rutland Co., VT. He was the son of Philotas Hayden and Mary A. Broughton. Colonel Charles B. Hayden died on 14 March 1864 at Cincinnati, Hamilton Co., OH, at age 29.
