     Levi Buttles was also known as Levi Buttolph. He was born on 12 November 1763 at Simsbury, Hartford Co., CT.¹ He was the son of Capt. Jonathan Buttolph and Jerusha Dibble. Levi Buttles married Sarah Phelps, daughter of Charles Phelps and Eunice (?), circa 1786.² Levi Buttles died on 14 June 1805 at Worthington, Franklin Co., OH, at age 41.² He was buried at St. John's Cemetery, Worthington, Franklin Co., OH.²

     Sarah Phelps was born circa 1764 at CT.¹ She was the daughter of Charles Phelps and Eunice (?) Sarah Phelps married Levi Buttles, son of Capt. Jonathan Buttolph and Jerusha Dibble, circa 1786.¹ Sarah Phelps died on 30 June 1844 at Columbus, Franklin Co., OH.¹ She was buried at St. John's Cemetery, Worthington, Franklin Co., OH.¹

     Lawrence Buttles Case was born on 28 May 1816.¹ He was the son of Job Warren Case and Julia Buttles.¹ Lawrence Buttles Case died on 4 August 1841 at age 25.¹

     Emily Clemens Case was born on 25 March 1827 at Worthington, Franklin Co., OH.^1,2 She was the daughter of Job Warren Case and Julia Buttles.¹ Emily Clemens Case married Samuel Robinson Holt on 21 March 1853 at Franklin Co., OH.² Emily Clemens Case died on 3 March 1902 at Worthington, Franklin Co., OH, at age 74.² She was buried at Walnut Grove Cemetery, Worthington, Franklin Co., OH.²
