     Fred Lewis Holcombe was born in 1877. He was the son of Theodore Crosby Holcombe and Ida F. Mecorney. Fred Lewis Holcombe married Maud Curran on 20 September 1908 at Coldwater, KS. Fred Lewis Holcombe died on 31 January 1937.

Gerald Parsons notes that John's birth was not recorded and he died probably either in Brookfield or Western (now Warren), Massachusetts.
