     Lydia Ann Waldorf was born on 28 June 1828 at Trumbull Co., OH.¹ She was the daughter of Philip Waldorf and Lydia Giddings.¹ Lydia Ann Waldorf married Lyman Griswold Newell, son of Justus Newell and Lucy North, on 28 August 1845 at Warren, Trumbull Co., OH.¹ Lydia Ann Waldorf died on 3 February 1861 at age 32.¹ She was buried at West Mecca Cemetery, Trumbull Co., OH.¹

     Clarissa Newell was born circa 1825.¹ She was the daughter of Justus Newell and Lucy North.¹

Probably the "Calissa" Newell who md. Portage Co., OH, 16 Feb 1842, David Curtiss, and is buried at Bloom Cemetery in Nelson with David; 2 children. ¹

     Emma Lucellia Newell was born on 17 August 1848 at Mecca, Trumbull Co., OH.¹ She was the daughter of Lyman Griswold Newell and Lydia Ann Waldorf.¹ Emma Lucellia Newell died on 14 May 1913 at Reading, Hillsdale Co., MI, at age 64.¹

     Matilda Holcombe was born circa 1792 at Greenbrier Co., VA or CT.^1,2 She was the daughter of Timothy Holcombe and Elizabeth Griffin.¹ Matilda Holcombe married Roger Gum.³ Matilda Holcombe died after 1859.²

     Lawrence Messenger was born circa 1794.¹ He married Mary Holcombe, daughter of Amasa Holcombe and Ruth Hoskins.¹ Lawrence Messenger died on 11 April 1843.¹ He was buried at West Granby Cemetery, Granby, Hartford Co., CT.²

     Sereno Messenger was the son of Lemuel Messenger and Abigail Lampson. Sereno Messenger married Nancy Hayes on 2 May 1831 at Granby, Hartford Co., CT. The members of Sereno and Nancy's family are mostly supposition.

Jonathan Higley Jr. died on 3 May 1817 at Windsor, Ashtabula Co., OH, at age 69.¹ He was buried at Pioneer Cemetery, Windsor, Ashtabula Co., OH.¹

     Lemuel Messenger was born on 20 July 1759 at Simsbury (now West Granby), Hartford Co., CT.¹ He was the son of Nathaniel Messenger and Eleanor Griffin.¹ Lemuel Messenger married Abigail Lampson, daughter of Elnathan Lampson, on 9 November 1791 at Granby, Hartford Co., CT.¹ Lemuel Messenger died on 4 May 1839 at Granby, Hartford Co., CT, at age 79.¹
