     Asa Loomis was born on 3 November 1793.¹ He was the son of Russell Loomis.² Asa Loomis married Clarissa Cross, daughter of Gen. Samuel Cross, on 16 October 1816. Asa Loomis died on 20 May 1868 at Shaftsbury, Bennignton Co., VT, at age 74.¹

     Clarissa Cross was the daughter of Gen. Samuel Cross.¹ Clarissa Cross married Asa Loomis, son of Russell Loomis, on 16 October 1816. Clarissa Cross died on 9 February 1875.¹

     Russell Loomis was born on 1 September 1763 at Colchester, New London Co., CT.¹ He was the son of Deacon Daniel Loomis and Alice Chamberlain.² Russell Loomis married Lydia Huntington, daughter of Amos Huntington and Peace Clark. Russell Loomis died on 22 February 1842 at Shaftsbury, Bennignton Co., VT, at age 78.¹

     Lydia Huntington was born on 16 May 1770.¹ She was the daughter of Amos Huntington and Peace Clark.¹ Lydia Huntington married Russell Loomis, son of Deacon Daniel Loomis and Alice Chamberlain. Lydia Huntington died on 3 April 1835 at age 64.¹

     Deacon Daniel Loomis was born on 16 June 1735 at Colchester, New London Co., CT.¹ He was the son of Daniel Loomis and Hannah Withrell.² Deacon Daniel Loomis married Alice Chamberlain on 25 February 1756. Deacon Daniel Loomis died on 18 September 1790 at Richfield, Ostego Co., NY, at age 55.¹

     Alice Chamberlain married Deacon Daniel Loomis, son of Daniel Loomis and Hannah Withrell, on 25 February 1756. Alice Chamberlain died on 11 July 1807.¹

     Hannah Withrell was also known as Hannah Wetherell. She married Daniel Loomis, son of Deacon Samuel Loomis and Elizabeth White, on 7 October 1731. Hannah Withrell died on 1 March 1779.¹

     Allen Pettibone was born circa 1804 at CT.¹ He was the son of Ozias Pettibone and Elizabeth Pease. Allen Pettibone married Ammorett Smith, daughter of Elijah Smith and Anna Phelps.¹ Allen Pettibone married Sally Goodwin Holcombe, daughter of Walter Holcombe and Fluvia Rockwell, on 25 December 1864. Allen Pettibone married Mary Jane Smith, daughter of Elijah Smith and Anna Phelps. Allen Pettibone married Charlotte Deborah Porter. Allen Pettibone died on 10 July 1895.²

     Ammorett Smith was born circa 1803 at CT.¹ She was the daughter of Elijah Smith and Anna Phelps. Ammorett Smith married Allen Pettibone, son of Ozias Pettibone and Elizabeth Pease.¹ Ammorett Smith died on 17 November 1864.²

     Richard Erasmus Neale married Mildred Janet Stelzer, daughter of Adolph Jacob Stelzer and Edith Mason, circa 1917.¹

     Jane Penelope Neale was born on 26 March 1921 at Akron, Summit Co., OH.^1,2 She was the daughter of Richard Erasmus Neale and Mildred Janet Stelzer.¹ Jane Penelope Neale died on 24 March 1980 at Cuyahoga Falls, Summit Co., OH, at age 58.^1,2

     Clyde Harry Stinard was born on 18 November 1895.^1,2 He married Mildred Janet Stelzer, daughter of Adolph Jacob Stelzer and Edith Mason, circa 1950.¹ Clyde Harry Stinard died in January 1971 at Cuyahoga Falls, Summit Co., OH, at age 75.²

     Harry Haigon West married Gretchen Marguerite Stelzer, daughter of Adolph Jacob Stelzer and Edith Mason, on 22 July 1933.¹ Harry Haigon West died on 10 November 1959 at Cuyahoga Falls, Summit Co., OH.¹

     Erasmus Darwin Mason was born circa 1829.¹ He was the son of Elijah Mason and Charlotte Gillett.¹

     William B. Mason was born circa 1834 at OH.^1,2 He was the son of Elijah Mason and Charlotte Gillett.¹

     Frances Mason was born in October 1837 at OH.^1,2,3 She was the daughter of Elijah Mason and Charlotte Gillett.¹ Frances Mason married Henry Werts.¹ Frances Mason died in 1926.¹

Widow Frances was enumerated in the 1900 Canton, Stark Co., OH, federal census.

Frances donated the temporary tomb to hold the remains of the slain President McKinley after he was shot in 1901, until the McKinley memorial was build in 1907.

     Nathan Gillett Mason was born on 7 May 1843 at OH.¹ He was the son of Elijah Mason and Charlotte Gillett.¹

Nathan moved his family in 1876 to homestead in Wyoming.

Nathan and Mary were enumerated in the 1880 Lander, Sweetwater, WY, federal census. He was a stock grower, age 35, she was 31. Children in the household were Minnie 10, Edward 8, Lottie 5, Charles 3, and a as yet unnamed son 1 month.

The whole family moved again by covered wagon in 1901 to Oregon, where their descendants still live.

Nathan and Mary were enumerated in the 1910 Ferndale Precinct, Umatilla Co., OR, federal census. He was a farmer, age 66, she was 62. Children in the household were N. R. L. 24, and Carlton 18.
