     Caroline Case was born on 20 September 1814 at Barkhamsted, Litchfield Co., CT. She was the daughter of Eli Case and Lovisa Mills. Caroline Case married Gad Rowley, son of Reuben Rowley and Polly Hudson. Caroline Case died on 1 August 1893 at age 78.

     Gad Rowley was born in December 1810. He was the son of Reuben Rowley and Polly Hudson. Gad Rowley married Caroline Case, daughter of Eli Case and Lovisa Mills. Gad Rowley died on 2 August 1859 at age 48.

     Mary Jane Rowley was born on 27 March 1848 at West Suffield, Hartford Co., CT. She was the daughter of Gad Rowley and Caroline Case. Mary Jane Rowley married Seth Allen Viets, son of Allen Viets and Lorinda Smith, on 15 November 1870 at Methodist Church, West Suffield, Hartford Co., CT. Mary Jane Rowley died on 28 June 1916 at West Suffield, Hartford Co., CT, at age 68.

     Seth Allen Viets was born on 17 April 1842 at Copper Hill, East Granby, Hartford Co., CT.² He was the son of Allen Viets and Lorinda Smith. Seth Allen Viets married Mary Jane Rowley, daughter of Gad Rowley and Caroline Case, on 15 November 1870 at Methodist Church, West Suffield, Hartford Co., CT. Seth Allen Viets died on 25 December 1923 at West Suffield, Hartford Co., CT, at age 81.²

Seth attended schools in Windsor and Hartford when a boy as well as the school in his own district. Later he attended Wilbraham Academy and Fort Edward Institute. After spending some time at farming in Granville, Massachusetts, and in Windsor he went to West Suffield in 1868. There he commenced driving the stage and carrying the mail and passengers between there and Springfield, Massachusetts, a distance of about fifteen miles. He continued this until the winter of 1882. He also conducted a general store during a part of this period, disposing of this business in 1886. He took up the growing of tobacco which he followed up to the time of this death. In 1902 he was appointed agent for the Bowker Fertilizer Company which he successfully carried on until 1921.³

     Allen Viets was born on 24 March 1813. He was the son of Capt. George Viets and Charlotte Rice. Allen Viets married Lorinda Smith, daughter of Leonard Smith Jr. and Abigail Whalley, on 1 April 1840. Allen Viets died on 5 September 1848 at age 35.

     Lorinda Smith was born on 9 December 1821 at NY. She was the daughter of Leonard Smith Jr. and Abigail Whalley. Lorinda Smith married Allen Viets, son of Capt. George Viets and Charlotte Rice, on 1 April 1840. Lorinda Smith died on 22 March 1907 at East Granby, Hartford Co., CT, at age 85.

     Vienna Lorinda Viets was born on 11 May 1872 at West Suffield, Hartford Co., CT. She was the daughter of Seth Allen Viets and Mary Jane Rowley. As of 12 September 1899,her married name was Smith. Vienna Lorinda Viets married George Letts Smith, son of Charles Anson Smith and Ellen Jane Viets, on 12 September 1899. Vienna Lorinda Viets died on 16 April 1958 at age 85.

     Harriet Isabella Viets was born on 26 May 1874 at Suffield, Hartford Co., CT. She was the daughter of Seth Allen Viets and Mary Jane Rowley. Harriet Isabella Viets died on 18 September 1953 at Glastonbury, Hartford Co., CT, at age 79.

     Laura Mary Viets was born on 18 May 1879 at West Suffield, Hartford Co., CT. She was the daughter of Seth Allen Viets and Mary Jane Rowley. As of 28 September 1907,her married name was Southergill. Laura Mary Viets married Frederick M. Southergill, son of Thomas Southergill and Elizabeth Rockwell, on 28 September 1907 at South Windsor, CT. Laura Mary Viets died on 8 June 1947 at age 68.

     Anna Belle Sarver was born on 25 September 1872 at Elizabeth, PA. She was the daughter of John Sarver and Katherine Kent. Anna Belle Sarver married Arthur W. Viets, son of Dudley Leroy Viets and Emma Jane Holcombe.

     Bertha Viets was born on 1 January 1904 at McKeesport, PA. She was the daughter of Arthur W. Viets and Anna Belle Sarver.

     Dorothy Viets was born on 24 August 1908 at McKeesport, PA. She was the daughter of Arthur W. Viets and Anna Belle Sarver.

     Frederick Percy Damon was born on 17 December 1869 at Greenfield, Franklin Co., MA. He was the son of Austin Damon and Lauretta Jane Wright. Frederick Percy Damon married Caroline Augusta Viets, daughter of Walter Dwight Viets and Adelaide Griffin, on 24 May 1892. Frederick Percy Damon died on 11 June 1945 at age 75.

     Harold Viets Damon was born on 18 July 1895 at Springfield, Hampden Co., MA. He was the son of Frederick Percy Damon and Caroline Augusta Viets. Harold Viets Damon died on 30 April 1943 at Flint, Genesee Co, MI, at age 47.

     Dorcas Damon was born on 27 April 1897 at Springfield, Hampden Co., MA. She was the daughter of Frederick Percy Damon and Caroline Augusta Viets. Dorcas Damon married Robert Erskine Hamilton, son of John P. Hamilton and Elle Moreledge, on 14 December 1925 at New York City, NY. Dorcas Damon lived at Taunton, MA.

     Robert Erskine Hamilton was born on 7 October 1868 at Pittsburgh, Allegheny Co., PA. He was the son of John P. Hamilton and Elle Moreledge. Robert Erskine Hamilton married Dorcas Damon, daughter of Frederick Percy Damon and Caroline Augusta Viets, on 14 December 1925 at New York City, NY. Robert Erskine Hamilton died on 22 October 1937 at age 69.

     Marjorie Damon was born on 8 June 1912 at Peoria, Peoria Co., IL. She was the daughter of Frederick Percy Damon and Caroline Augusta Viets. Marjorie Damon married Gordon Carver Pratt MD, son of William E. Pratt and Florence Rockett, on 5 August 1939.

     Gordon Carver Pratt MD was born on 29 September 1911 at Taunton, MA. He was the son of William E. Pratt and Florence Rockett. Gordon Carver Pratt MD married Marjorie Damon, daughter of Frederick Percy Damon and Caroline Augusta Viets, on 5 August 1939.

     Laura D. Holcombe was born on 4 December 1811 at Vinton, Gallia Co., OH. She was the daughter of General Samuel Robert Holcombe and Sarah Ewing.¹ Laura D. Holcombe married Edward Tiffin McMillin on 2 April 1829. Laura D. Holcombe died in 1883 at Gallia Co., OH.

     Edward Tiffin McMillin was born on 7 December 1808 at Gallia Co., OH. He married Laura D. Holcombe, daughter of General Samuel Robert Holcombe and Sarah Ewing, on 2 April 1829.

     William G. Viets was born on 2 November 1906 at New York City, NY. He was the son of Ralph Waldo Viets and Julia A. Sullivan. William G. Viets married Edith McBrian, daughter of John McBrian and Emma (?). William G. Viets died on 17 May 1981 at Venice, Sarasota Co., FL, at age 74.

     Her married name was Viets. Mae (?) married Ralph Waldo Viets, son of Walter Dwight Viets and Adelaide Griffin. Mae (?) died on 19 February 1931.

     George Letts Smith was born on 22 October 1858 at Lexington, OH. He was the son of Charles Anson Smith and Ellen Jane Viets. George Letts Smith married Vienna Lorinda Viets, daughter of Seth Allen Viets and Mary Jane Rowley, on 12 September 1899. George Letts Smith died on 12 September 1930 at Springfield, Hampden Co., MA, at age 71.

     Charles Anson Smith was born on 4 October 1824. He married Ellen Jane Viets, daughter of Seymour Samuel Viets and Maira Olds, on 1 January 1850 at Suffield, Hartford Co., CT. Charles Anson Smith died on 18 October 1894 at Suffield, Hartford Co., CT, at age 70.

     Ellen Jane Viets was born on 23 November 1831 at Becket, Berkshire Co., MA. She was the daughter of Seymour Samuel Viets and Maira Olds.¹ As of 1 January 1850,her married name was Smith. Ellen Jane Viets married Charles Anson Smith on 1 January 1850 at Suffield, Hartford Co., CT. Ellen Jane Viets died on 8 January 1909 at Suffield, Hartford Co., CT, at age 77.

     Seymour Samuel Viets was born on 16 May at Granby, Hartford Co., CT.¹ He was the son of Samuel Viets and Susan Pratt.² Seymour Samuel Viets married Maira Olds in November 1820. Seymour Samuel Viets died on 27 June 1886.¹

     Maira Olds was born in November 1800 at Southwick, Hampden Co., MA. As of November 1820,her married name was Viets. She married Seymour Samuel Viets, son of Samuel Viets and Susan Pratt, in November 1820. Maira Olds died on 6 February 1856 at Forester, MI, at age 55.

     Samuel Viets was born on 17 January 1779.¹ He was the son of Capt. Abner Viets and Mary Viets. Samuel Viets married Susan Pratt in October 1804. Samuel Viets died on 6 March 1814 at age 35.¹

     Susan Pratt was born circa 1782. As of October 1804,her married name was Viets. She married Samuel Viets, son of Capt. Abner Viets and Mary Viets, in October 1804. Susan Pratt died on 4 April 1865.

     George Leslie Smith was born on 27 April 1903 at Suffield, Hartford Co., CT. He was the son of George Letts Smith and Vienna Lorinda Viets. George Leslie Smith died on 17 February 1924 at Springfield, Hampden Co., MA, at age 20.
