Stephen Christides gives the death date as 21 March, cited from Townsend, but Stiles, who Christides often cites, gives the date of 19 March.

     Sylvia Clark was born on 18 December 1794.¹ She was the daughter of Asahel Clark and Elizabeth Hoskins. Sylvia Clark married Wareham Griswold, son of Levi Griswold and Azubah Griswold, on 24 September 1818.¹ Sylvia Clark died on 1 September 1848 at Windsor, Hartford Co., CT, at age 53.¹ She was buried at Elm Grove Cemetery, Poquonock, Hartford Co., CT.²

     Asahel Clark was baptized on 31 May 1767.¹ He was the son of Solomon Clark and Ann Ashley.² Asahel Clark married Elizabeth Hoskins, daughter of Abel Hoskins and Elizabeth Eggleston. Asahel Clark died on 8 November 1860 at age 93.¹

     Elizabeth Hoskins was born on 20 February 1768 at Bloomfield, Hartford Co., CT.¹ She was the daughter of Abel Hoskins and Elizabeth Eggleston.² Elizabeth Hoskins married Asahel Clark, son of Solomon Clark and Ann Ashley. Elizabeth Hoskins died on 5 April 1808 at age 40.³

     Abel Hoskins was born on 28 June 1734 at Bloomfield, Hartford Co., CT.¹ He was the son of Zebulon Hoskins and Lois Moore. Abel Hoskins married Elizabeth Eggleston on 22 March 1759 at Bloomfield, Hartford Co., CT.²

     Elizabeth Eggleston was born circa 1742.¹ She married Abel Hoskins, son of Zebulon Hoskins and Lois Moore, on 22 March 1759 at Bloomfield, Hartford Co., CT.¹

     Andrew Moore Jr. was born on 15 February 1673/74 at Windsor, Hartford Co., CT.¹ He was the son of Andrew Moore and Sarah Phelps.¹ Andrew Moore Jr. died on 18 May 1752 at Wintonbury (now Bloomfield), Hartford Co., CT, at age 78.¹

"A Lois Moore who married Zebulon Hoskins, shown as a child of Thomas and Deborah in the original edition, is not mentioned in Thomas' will, and is deleted from this family."

     Gilbert Maybra Doughty was born on 18 March 1903 at Atlantic City, Atlantic Co., NJ.^1,2 He married Margaret Parker Frankau, daughter of Louis Griswold Frankau and Mary Anna Parker, on 20 December 1945 at Wilmington, New Castle Co., DE.¹ Gilbert Maybra Doughty died on 6 August 1980 at Brigantine, Atlantic Co., NJ, at age 77.^1,2

     Mehitablel Hayes married Dr. Josiah Topping, son of Dr. Josiah Topping and Susannah Holcombe, circa 1795 at Granby, Hartford Co., CT.¹ Mehitablel Hayes died before 1830.¹ She was buried at Ballsville Cemetery, Fremont, OH.¹

Current records indicate that Samuel and Rosanna (Holcomb) Hayes did not have a daughter, Mehitable, as McCormick indicates. Perhaps this is the daughter of Seth Hayes.

     Josiah Howell Topping was born circa 1796 at Granby, Hartford Co., CT.¹ He was the son of Dr. Josiah Topping and Mehitablel Hayes.¹ Josiah Howell Topping married Belinda (?) circa 1833.² Josiah Howell Topping died in April 1874 at Jay Co., IN.² He was buried at probably Montgomery Cemetery, Winchester, IN.²

     Flavel Topping was born circa 1798 at Granby, Hartford Co., CT.¹ He was the son of Dr. Josiah Topping and Mehitablel Hayes.¹ Flavel Topping died on 29 July 1835 at Sandusky Co., OH.² He was buried at probably the "Ballsville Cemetery", Fremont, Sandusky Co., OH.²

     Narcissa Topping was born circa 1800 at Granby, Hartford Co., CT.¹ She was the daughter of Dr. Josiah Topping and Mehitablel Hayes.¹ Narcissa Topping died at Jay Co., IN.¹

     Hector Topping was born circa 1803 at Granby, Hartford Co., CT.¹ He was the son of Dr. Josiah Topping and Mehitablel Hayes.¹ Hector Topping died in November 1870 at Jay Co., IN.¹

     Helen Topping was the daughter of Dr. Josiah Topping and Mehitablel Hayes.¹

     Amorette Topping died at Jay Co., IN.¹ She was born circa 1809 at Worthington, Franklin Co., OH.¹ She was the daughter of Dr. Josiah Topping and Mehitablel Hayes.¹

     John Topping was born circa 1811 at Worthington, Franklin Co., OH.¹ He was the son of Dr. Josiah Topping and Mehitablel Hayes.¹ John Topping married Sophia Jane Penhallow.² John Topping died on 4 November 1851 at Fremont, Sandusky Co., OH.²

     George Hayes Topping was born on 22 April 1813 at Worthington, Franklin Co., OH.¹ He was the son of Dr. Josiah Topping and Mehitablel Hayes. George Hayes Topping married Frances Amelia Graham on 19 October 1843 at Richland Co., OH.² George Hayes Topping married Isabella Farr on 15 September 1864 at Ashland Co., OH.² George Hayes Topping died on 13 October 1901 at Ashland, Ashland Co., OH, at age 88.² He was buried at Ashland City Cemetery, Ashland, Ashland Co., OH.²

In August 1862 George enlisted as a major in the 102nd Ohio Volunteer Infantry but resigned the following March as a result of his wife's death at the birth of their daughter Helen.³

     Belinda (?) married Josiah Howell Topping, son of Dr. Josiah Topping and Mehitablel Hayes, circa 1833.¹ Belinda (?) died after 16 August 1838.¹

     Sebra Holcombe was born between 1806 and 1810 at NY.¹ She was the daughter of Edmund Holcombe and Sally Cardell.¹ Sebra Holcombe married Frederick F. Cain, son of Peter Cain and Sarah (?), before 1826.¹ Sebra Holcombe died after 6 December 1840 at NY.¹

     Hiram Holcombe was the son of Edmund Holcombe and Sally Cardell. Hiram Holcombe died before 10 April 1904.

     Clarissa E. Holcombe was born on 27 September 1818 at Camillus, Onondaga Co., NY.¹ She was the daughter of Edmund Holcombe and Sally Cardell.¹ Clarissa E. Holcombe married John Molby on 22 July 1837. Clarissa E. Holcombe died on 9 August 1897 at Creston, Union Co., IA, at age 78.¹

     Frederick F. Cain was born on 31 July 1806 at Herkimer Co., NY.¹ He was the son of Peter Cain and Sarah (?) Frederick F. Cain married Sebra Holcombe, daughter of Edmund Holcombe and Sally Cardell, before 1826.¹ Frederick F. Cain died on 1 October 1882 at Hillsdale, Hillsdale Co., MI, at age 76.¹
