     Clarence E. Alderman was born in 1868.¹ He was the son of Daniel Alderman IV and Sarah Jane Hawes.¹ Clarence E. Alderman married Mable H. Field in 1895.¹

     Mable H. Field married Clarence E. Alderman, son of Daniel Alderman IV and Sarah Jane Hawes, in 1895.¹ Mable H. Field died in 1926.²

     Edwin H. Alderman was born in 1870.¹ He was the son of Daniel Alderman IV and Sarah Jane Hawes.¹

     Son Alderman was the son of Elijah Alderman and Dorcas Alderman.¹ Son Alderman died on 14 February 1777.¹

The death of Dorcas' unmaned infant son was recorded by Rev. Roger Viets, Rector of St. Andrews Chruch, Simsbury.

     Pearl Alderman was born on 7 July 1798.¹ She was the daughter of Elijah Alderman and Rosanna Phelps.¹ Pearl Alderman died in 1862.¹

     Sophia Elvira Alderman was born on 5 July 1801.¹ She was the daughter of Elijah Alderman and Rosanna Phelps.¹ Sophia Elvira Alderman died in 1875.¹

     Ransalaer Alderman was born on 15 February 1804.¹ He was the son of Elijah Alderman and Rosanna Phelps.¹ Ransalaer Alderman died at PA.

     Eliza Alderman was born on 15 May 1806.¹ She was the daughter of Elijah Alderman and Rosanna Phelps.¹ Eliza Alderman died in 1872.¹

     Almond Alderman was born on 17 July 1808.¹ He was the son of Elijah Alderman and Rosanna Phelps.¹ Almond Alderman died on 17 March 1876 at age 67.¹

Almond doubtless resided in Michigan. It is possible that all the children were born in Ohio.²

     Zebina Alderman was born on 6 December 1810 at CT.^1,2 He was the son of Elijah Alderman and Rosanna Phelps.³ Zebina Alderman married Marilla Hill, daughter of Elijah Hill and Zipporah Alderman, in 1833.¹ Zebina Alderman died on 22 February 1891 at age 80.¹

Zebina and Marilla were enumerated in the 1860 Windsor, Ashtabula Co., OH, federal census. He was a farmer age 49, born in CT; she was 44, born in OH. Children in the household, all born in OH were Ethan A, age 21, Parintha age 19, and Edmond 10.

     Marilla Hill was born in October 1815 at OH.² She was the daughter of Elijah Hill and Zipporah Alderman.³ Marilla Hill married Zebina Alderman, son of Elijah Alderman and Rosanna Phelps, in 1833.⁴

     Phelps Alderman was born on 12 July 1813.¹ He was the son of Elijah Alderman and Rosanna Phelps.¹ Phelps Alderman married Lydia Matteson, daughter of Thomas Matteson, on 21 December 1833.¹ Phelps Alderman married Celestia Matteson, daughter of Thomas Matteson.² Phelps Alderman died on 3 October 1866 at age 53.¹

Phelps lived in Ohio, but some of the family moved to Texas.

     Lydia Matteson was born on 2 February 1815.² She was the daughter of Thomas Matteson.² Lydia Matteson married Phelps Alderman, son of Elijah Alderman and Rosanna Phelps, on 21 December 1833.¹ Lydia Matteson died on 28 January 1854 at age 38.²

     Susannah Alderman was born on 23 July 1817.¹ She was the daughter of Elijah Alderman and Rosanna Phelps.¹ Susannah Alderman died in 1888.¹

     Isaac Newton Alderman was born on 23 November 1823.¹ He was the son of Elijah Alderman and Rosanna Phelps.¹ Isaac Newton Alderman married Elizabeth Bacon on 14 May 1843.¹ Isaac Newton Alderman died on 2 April 1899 at age 75.¹

Newton and Elizabeth were enumerated in the 1860 Windsor, Ashtabula Co., OH, federal census, page 119. He was a farmer age 40, born in OH; she was 39, also born in Ohio. Children in the household, all born in Ohio, were Ellsworth 15, Marilla 14, Alice 13, and David, 7.

"Newton" and Elizabeth were enumerated in the 1880 Windsor, Ashtabula Co., OH, census. Davis, listed as "David" was in the household.

The Alderman Genealogy says that Elizabeth was a native of Windsor Mills, but the 1880 census lists her as born in Connecticut. She married Isaac Newton Alderman, son of Elijah Alderman and Rosanna Phelps, on 14 May 1843.¹

     Lorenzo Alderman was born on 26 December 1814.¹ He was the son of George Alderman and Sally M. Burgess.¹ Lorenzo Alderman married Evaline Alderman, daughter of Timothy Alderman and Sallie West.² Lorenzo Alderman died on 21 May 1873 at age 58.¹

Lorenzo and Evaline were enumerated in the 1850 Windsor, Ashtabula Co., OH federal census, dwelling 1571, family 1623. He was a farmer age 34, born in CT; she was 30, born in Ohio. Children in the household, all born in Ohio, were Mary 12, Leonidas 9, a daughter 6, and Josephine 1.

Lorenzo and Evaline were enumerated in the 1860 Windsor, Ashtabula Co., OH federal census, page 130. He was a farmer age 45, born in CT; she was 41, born in Ohio. Children in the household, all born in Ohio were Leonidas 19, a daughter (Prigima?) 16, and Josephine 11. Lorenzo's mother Sally age 76 was also in the household.

Lorenzo and Evaline were enumerated in the 1870 Windsor, Ashtabula Co., OH, census, page 9. He was a farmer. They had Archie Alderman, age 7, Oren Childs, age 22, and Josephine Childs, age 20 also in the household.

     Evaline Alderman was born in 1820.¹ She was the daughter of Timothy Alderman and Sallie West. Evaline Alderman married Lorenzo Alderman, son of George Alderman and Sally M. Burgess.¹

     Henry D. Alderman was born on 6 March 1817 at OH.¹ He was the son of George Alderman and Sally M. Burgess.¹ Henry D. Alderman married Rachel Blanchard.¹ Henry D. Alderman died on 5 April 1865 at Orwell, Ashtabula Co., OH, at age 48.¹

Despite the report in the Alderman genealogy of his death, Henry was enumerated in the 1880 Hartsgrove, Ashtabula Co., OH, federal census, ED 12, page 8. He was a farmer, age 63 widowed. Children in the household were George 30, and Jefferson 13. Franlin lived nearby.

     Rachel Blanchard was born on 10 January 1823.¹ She married Henry D. Alderman, son of George Alderman and Sally M. Burgess.¹ Rachel Blanchard died in 1869 at Hartsgrove, Ashtabula Co., OH.¹

     George Alderman Jr. was born in October 1830.¹ He was the son of George Alderman and Sally M. Burgess.¹ George Alderman Jr. died on 30 September 1848 at age 17.¹

     Ziporah Alderman was born circa 1842 at OH. She was the daughter of Henry D. Alderman and Rachel Blanchard.¹

     Napoleon Alderman was born on 24 January 1844 at OH.^1,2 He was the son of Henry D. Alderman and Rachel Blanchard. Napoleon Alderman died on 25 December 1928 at age 84; unmarried.¹
