     Marie Beecher Leonard was born at Ravenna, Portage Co., OH. She was the daughter of Dr. Charles Sullivan Leonard and Lura Augusta Beecher.

     Ebenezer Shaw was born on 5 September 1771 at Bristol Co., RI.² He was the son of Jeremiah Shaw and Abigail Campbell. Ebenezer Shaw married Cynthia Holcombe, daughter of Capt. Eli Holcombe and Hannah Crofut, on 26 February 1801 at Ulster, Bradford Co., PA.^3,2 Ebenezer Shaw died on 17 December 1871 at Sheshequin, PA, at age 100.

     Jeremiah commanded a company in the 4th regiment, New York militia, under Col. Killian Van Rensselaer, 1776-81. Jeremiah Shaw was born in 1730 at Little Compton, RI. He married Abigail Campbell in 1764. Jeremiah Shaw died on 27 May 1815 at PA.²

     Abigail Campbell was born in 1747. She married Jeremiah Shaw in 1764. Abigail Campbell died on 19 March 1811.¹

     Norman Shaw was born on 17 August 1808 at Ulster, Bradford Co., PA.^2,3 He was the son of Ebenezer Shaw and Cynthia Holcombe. Norman Shaw married Mary Ann Marshall circa 1833.³ Norman Shaw died on 22 March 1890 at Ulster, Bradford Co., PA, at age 81.³

Norman and Mary were enumerated in the 1860 Ulster, Bradford Co., PA, federal census. He was a farmer, age 51. Mary was 47. Children in the household were Augustus, a boatman age 25, *(male) age 24, Thomas age 22, Alonzo age 20, Hartwell age 19, Julia age 18, and *Clementine(?) age 13.

Norman and Mary Ann were enumerated in the 1880 Ulster, Bradford Co., PA, federal census. He was a farmer, age 72; she was 70. There were no other members of the household.

     Mary Ann Marshall was born in November 1810 at NY.¹ She married Norman Shaw, son of Ebenezer Shaw and Cynthia Holcombe, circa 1833.¹ Mary Ann Marshall died in 1886.

     Julia Delphine Shaw was born on 11 June 1842 at Ulster, Bradford Co., PA.² She was the daughter of Norman Shaw and Mary Ann Marshall. Julia Delphine Shaw married George B. Rodgers on 3 September 1863 at Ulster, Bradford Co., PA.² Julia Delphine Shaw died on 29 September 1901 at Ulster, Bradford Co., PA, at age 59.²

     George B. Rodgers was born on 11 November 1832 at Glaston, Scotland.¹ He married Julia Delphine Shaw, daughter of Norman Shaw and Mary Ann Marshall, on 3 September 1863 at Ulster, Bradford Co., PA.¹ George B. Rodgers died on 15 February 1920 at Ulster, Bradford Co., PA, at age 87.

     Mary Rodgers was born in 1864 at Ulster, Bradford Co., PA. She was the daughter of George B. Rodgers and Julia Delphine Shaw. Mary Rodgers married John C. Mather in 1884.

     John C. Mather was born in 1860. He married Mary Rodgers, daughter of George B. Rodgers and Julia Delphine Shaw, in 1884.

     Martha Lucina Janes was born at Cornwall, Addison Co., VT. She was the daughter of Champion Marsh Janes and Fidelia Adelaide Holcombe.

     Horace Janes was born in 1789. He was the son of Israel Champion Janes and Mary Ann Marsh. Horace Janes married Betsey Parker, daughter of Abraham Parker and /Whitney/ (?), in 1816. Horace Janes died in 1852.

     Betsey Parker was born in 1794. She was the daughter of Abraham Parker and /Whitney/ (?) Betsey Parker married Horace Janes, son of Israel Champion Janes and Mary Ann Marsh, in 1816. Betsey Parker died in 1856.

     Israel was in the garrison of Ticonderoga when it surrendered and was on picket duty when the fort was evacuated. Israel Champion Janes was born in 1760 at Brimfield, Hampden Co., MA. He died in 1847 at Cornwall, Addison Co., VT.

     Abraham Parker was born in 1763. He was the son of Joseph Parker and Elizabeth Martin.

     Joseph served in Capt. Benjamin Ames' company of minute men from Andover, MA. Joseph Parker was born in 1735 at Andover, MA. He died in 1825 at Cornwall, Addison Co., VT.

     William Ansley Smith was the son of Grant Smith and Mariem (?)

     Alexander volunteered at the Lexington Alarm and fought at Bunker Hill. He was ensign, 1776, in teh Fifth Company, Mott's Brigade, in the Northern Department.

?Perhaps the Alexander who was son of Zebulon King and Kezia Loomis.

     Ellen Ellsworth was born at CT. She was the daughter of Giles Ellsworth and Ellen Hayden. Ellen Ellsworth married Timothy Samuel Phelps, son of Deacon Roger Phelps Jr. and Rhoda Barber, on 18 May 1859.²

     Timothy Samuel Phelps was born on 30 October 1823 at Windsor, Hartford Co., CT.¹ He was the son of Deacon Roger Phelps Jr. and Rhoda Barber.² Timothy Samuel Phelps married Elizabeth S. Loomis, daughter of Elihu Loomis and Harriet Phelps, on 19 December 1843.¹ Timothy Samuel Phelps married Ellen Ellsworth, daughter of Giles Ellsworth and Ellen Hayden, on 18 May 1859.¹

     Mary Hyde was the daughter of Ebenezer Hyde and Chloe Ellsworth.

     Ebenezer Hyde Rogers was the son of Eliab Rogers and Mary Hyde.

     Ebenezer Hyde Rogers was the son of Ebenezer Hyde Rogers and Margaret Maria Leach.

     Ella Coleman Rogers was born at NY. She was the daughter of Ebenezer Hyde Rogers and Ella Coleman.

     Hannah Mcclure Wolcott was the daughter of Elihu Wolcott and Rachel McClure.

     Frances Caroline Kirby was the daughter of Wiliam Kirby and Hannah Mcclure Wolcott.

     Bessie McLaughlin was born at CA. She was the daughter of James McLaughlin and Frances Caroline Kirby.

     William Pierce Spalding was born in 1789. He was the son of Ezra Spalding and Hannah Eaton. William Pierce Spalding married Eleanor Watts, daughter of Francis Watts and Jane Means, in 1809. William Pierce Spalding died in 1867.

     Eleanor Watts was born in 1792. She was the daughter of Francis Watts and Jane Means. Eleanor Watts married William Pierce Spalding, son of Ezra Spalding and Hannah Eaton, in 1809. Eleanor Watts died in 1870.

     Ezra enlisted, 1775, as a private in Capt. John couglas' 2nd company, Col. Jedediah Huntington's Connecticut regiment. Ezra Spalding was born in 1754 at CT. He married Hannah Eaton in 1781. Ezra Spalding died in 1828 at Canton, PA.

     Hannah Eaton was born in 1754. She married Ezra Spalding in 1781. Hannah Eaton died in 1827.
