     Sarah Ellsworth was born on 16 September 1739. She was the daughter of Jonathan Ellsworth and Abigail Allyn. Sarah Ellsworth was baptized on 23 September 1739.

     Jonathan Ellsworth was born on 28 May 1742. He was the son of Jonathan Ellsworth and Abigail Allyn. Jonathan Ellsworth was baptized on 29 May 1743.

     Alexander Ellsworth was born on 9 June 1747. He was the son of Jonathan Ellsworth and Abigail Allyn. Alexander Ellsworth was baptized on 14 June 1747.

     Rev. Timothy Edwards was born on 14 May 1669. He was the son of Richard Edwards and Elizabeth Tuthill (Tuttle). Rev. Timothy Edwards was graduated in 1691 at Harvard. He married Esther Stoddard, daughter of Solomon Stoddard and Hester Warham, on 6 November 1694. Rev. Timothy Edwards died on 27 January 1758 at age 88.

First pastor of East Windsor. He had a local reputation as a Hebrew Scholar and even as a poet, and amassed a considerable library that his children used freely.³

     Esther Stoddard was the daughter of Solomon Stoddard and Hester Warham. Esther Stoddard married Rev. Timothy Edwards, son of Richard Edwards and Elizabeth Tuthill (Tuttle), on 6 November 1694.

     It appears by a journal kept by him, that he was on an expedition for the Governor on the Mississippi River in 1774-5, and for his services was granted a tract of land where the city of Natchez now stands. Capt. John Ellsworth was born on 24 August 1735 at Windsor, Hartford Co., CT. He was the son of John Ellsworth II and Anne Edwards. Capt. John Ellsworth married Sarah Clark on 25 November 1761. Capt. John Ellsworth married Martha Elton on 23 January 1772. Capt. John Ellsworth died on 14 February 1779 at age 43.

     Stiles lists her parents as John and Sarah Clark. Are these the same John Clark and Sarah Warner? Sarah Clark was born on 20 July 1740 at Middletown, CT. She married Capt. John Ellsworth, son of John Ellsworth II and Anne Edwards, on 25 November 1761. Sarah Clark died on 14 March 1770 at age 29.

     Martha Elton was born in September 1742 at Mid., CT. She married Capt. John Ellsworth, son of John Ellsworth II and Anne Edwards, on 23 January 1772. Martha Elton died on 16 December 1791 at Orleans Co., VT, at age 49.

     Lt. Solomon Ellsworth was born on 30 April 1737. He was the son of John Ellsworth II and Anne Edwards. Lt. Solomon Ellsworth married Mary Moseley, daughter of Abner Moseley, on 27 December 1758. Lt. Solomon Ellsworth died on 19 October 1822 at age 85. Solomon was at the Lexington Alarm and served as lieutenant in Capt. Lemuel Stoughton's company from East Windsor.

     Mary Moseley was born on 8 December 1737. She was the daughter of Abner Moseley. Mary Moseley married Lt. Solomon Ellsworth, son of John Ellsworth II and Anne Edwards, on 27 December 1758. Mary Moseley died on 16 February 1823 at age 85.

     Frederick Ellsworth married Ann Stoughton, daughter of Nathaniel Stoughton and Martha Ellsworth. Frederick Ellsworth was born on 26 October 1738. He was the son of John Ellsworth II and Anne Edwards. Frederick Ellsworth died on 20 February 1799 at age 60.

     Ann Stoughton married Frederick Ellsworth, son of John Ellsworth II and Anne Edwards. Ann Stoughton was born on 30 June 1741. She was the daughter of Nathaniel Stoughton and Martha Ellsworth. Ann Stoughton married Capt. Hugh Thompson, son of Hugh Thompson and Elizabeth Ellsworth. Ann Stoughton died on 5 August 1820 at age 79.

     Capt. Hugh Thompson was born on 26 August 1736.¹ He was the son of Hugh Thompson and Elizabeth Ellsworth. Capt. Hugh Thompson married Ann Stoughton, daughter of Nathaniel Stoughton and Martha Ellsworth.

     Ann Ellsworth was born on 23 January 1741. She was the daughter of John Ellsworth II and Anne Edwards. Ann Ellsworth married Col. Lemuel Stoughton, son of Nathaniel Stoughton and Martha Ellsworth, in 1769. Ann Ellsworth died on 8 November 1819 at age 78.

     Lemuel was a major of the 19th regiment of militia. Col. Lemuel Stoughton was born on 9 August 1731. He was the son of Nathaniel Stoughton and Martha Ellsworth. Col. Lemuel Stoughton married Ann Ellsworth, daughter of John Ellsworth II and Anne Edwards, in 1769. Col. Lemuel Stoughton died on 4 March 1793 at age 61.

     Daniel Ellsworth married Mary McKinsey. Daniel Ellsworth was born in 1727 at Ellington, CT. He was the son of Daniel Ellsworth Capt. and Mindwell (?) Daniel Ellsworth died on 27 July 1803 at Ellington, CT.

     Mary McKinsey married Daniel Ellsworth, son of Daniel Ellsworth Capt. and Mindwell (?). Mary McKinsey was born on 24 January 1726. She died on 27 March 1801 at age 75.

     Chloe Ellsworth was born in 1752. She was the daughter of Daniel Ellsworth and Mary McKinsey.

     Daniel moved in 1795 to Erie, Pa., when there were only 15 white families there, with a garrison to protect them, his store being the first frame building in the place. He brought his family there in 1797, the journey, made on pack-hourses, taking several weeks, and three children soon died. He was the first white man buried in Erie. His wife, a noble, energetic, Christian woman, returned to her father's home in Ell. in the fall of the same year, leaving Presque Isle (now Erie, PA) 15th Oct; she reached Ell. in 51 days hard travel, on 7 Dec 1798; she resided with her father 2 years before marrying a second time. Daniel Ellsworth was born in December 1753. He was the son of Daniel Ellsworth and Mary McKinsey. Daniel Ellsworth married Mary Abbot, daughter of Capt. Joseph Abbot and Elizabeth Stedman, on 2 December 1784. Daniel Ellsworth died on 3 March 1798 at age 44.

     Mindwell Ellsworth was born in 1761. She was the daughter of Daniel Ellsworth and Mary McKinsey. Mindwell Ellsworth died on 7 February 1784.

     John Ellsworth Rev. was born in 1762. He was the son of Daniel Ellsworth and Mary McKinsey. John Ellsworth Rev. died on 22 November 1791.

     Elizabeth Ellsworth was born in 1764. She was the daughter of Daniel Ellsworth and Mary McKinsey. Elizabeth Ellsworth died on 21 June 1786.

     Alice Ellsworth was born in 1765. She was the daughter of Daniel Ellsworth and Mary McKinsey. Alice Ellsworth died on 7 May 1786.

     Jerusha Ellsworth was born in 1768. She was the daughter of Daniel Ellsworth and Mary McKinsey. Jerusha Ellsworth died on 29 April 1829.

     Mary Abbot was born on 6 April 1759. She was the daughter of Capt. Joseph Abbot and Elizabeth Stedman. Mary Abbot married Daniel Ellsworth, son of Daniel Ellsworth and Mary McKinsey, on 2 December 1784. Mary Abbot married Capt. Ebenezer Scarboro. Mary Abbot died on 25 December 1835 at West Hartford, Hartford Co., CT, at age 76.

     Joseph served as captain, 1776, as major, 1777, in the Burgoyne campaing, and, 1779, as lieutenant colonel and colonel. Capt. Joseph Abbot was born in 1735 at Windham, CT. He died in 1814 at Ellington, CT.

     Capt. Ebenezer Scarboro married Mary Abbot, daughter of Capt. Joseph Abbot and Elizabeth Stedman. Capt. Ebenezer Scarboro died on 2 October 1813 at Brooklyn, CT.

     Mary Ellsworth was the daughter of Daniel Ellsworth and Mary Abbot. Mary Ellsworth married Samuel Thompson on 9 November 1809.

     Samuel Thompson married Mary Ellsworth, daughter of Daniel Ellsworth and Mary Abbott. Samuel Thompson married Mary Ellsworth, daughter of Daniel Ellsworth and Mary Abbot, on 9 November 1809.

     Charles Ellsworth was born in 1730. He was the son of Daniel Ellsworth Capt. and Mindwell (?) Charles Ellsworth died on 4 January 1776.

     Jerusha Ellsworth was the daughter of Daniel Ellsworth Capt. and Mindwell (?)

     Gurdon Ellsworth married Lydia Makepeace. Gurdon Ellsworth was born in 1737. He was the son of Daniel Ellsworth Capt. and Mindwell (?) Gurdon Ellsworth died on 26 June 1803 at Ellington.

     Lydia Makepeace married Gurdon Ellsworth, son of Daniel Ellsworth Capt. and Mindwell (?). Lydia Makepeace died on 18 May 1806.

     Gurdon Ellsworth was born on 17 April 1773. He was the son of Gurdon Ellsworth and Lydia Makepeace.

     George Ellsworth was born on 18 July 1774. He was the son of Gurdon Ellsworth and Lydia Makepeace. George Ellsworth died on 23 March 1798 at age 23.

     Lydia Ellsworth was born on 9 October 1775. She was the daughter of Gurdon Ellsworth and Lydia Makepeace. Lydia Ellsworth died on 30 April 1836 at age 60.

     Sally Ellsworth was born on 23 October 1778. She was the daughter of Gurdon Ellsworth and Lydia Makepeace. Sally Ellsworth died on 21 July 1814 at age 35.

     Mindwell Ellsworth was born on 10 December 1783. She was the daughter of Gurdon Ellsworth and Lydia Makepeace. Mindwell Ellsworth died on 9 April 1826 at age 42.

     Esther Wells was born in 1723. She was the daughter of Capt Samuel Wells and Esther Ellsworth.

     Samuel Wells was born on 5 October 1725. He was the son of Capt Samuel Wells and Esther Ellsworth. Samuel Wells married Esther Loomis, daughter of Timothy Loomis and Hannah Phelps, on 30 November 1755. Samuel Wells died on 31 August 1769 at age 43.

     Rebecca Porter was born on 8 March 1666. She was the daughter of John Porter II and Mary Stanley. Rebecca Porter married Timothy Loomis, son of Deacon John Loomis and Elizabeth Scott, on 20 March 1689 or 1690. Rebecca Porter died on 20 May 1750 at age 84.

     Timothy Loomis was born on 22 February 1691. He was the son of Timothy Loomis and Rebecca Porter. Timothy Loomis married Hannah Phelps on 5 April 1722. Timothy Loomis died on 12 August 1740 at age 49.
