Frank Messenger married Sarah Ann Winchell, daughter of Eli Winchell Jr. and Wealthy Permelia Gillett, on 30 April 1855 at Southwick, Hampden Co., MA. Frank Messenger died on 12 August 1889 at Granby, Hartford Co., CT.

     Sarah Ann Winchell was born on 20 September 1833 at Southwick, Hampden Co., MA. She was the daughter of Eli Winchell Jr. and Wealthy Permelia Gillett. Sarah Ann Winchell married Frank Messenger, son of Josephus Messenger and Betsey Day, on 30 April 1855 at Southwick, Hampden Co., MA. Sarah Ann Winchell died on 2 June 1921 at Utica, Oneida Co., NY, at age 87.

Widow Sarah and her mother Wealthy were enumerated in the 1880 Utica, Oneida Co., NY, federal census. She was 45, her mother was 66.

     Irving Messenger was born on 10 February 1856 at Granby, Hartford Co., CT. He was the son of Frank Messenger and Sarah Ann Winchell. Irving Messenger married Bridget Gagan in 1885 at Utica, Oneida Co., NY. Irving Messenger died on 15 December 1899 at Utica, Oneida Co., NY, at age 43.

     Bridget Gagan was born on 11 July 1858 at Ireland. She married Irving Messenger, son of Frank Messenger and Sarah Ann Winchell, in 1885 at Utica, Oneida Co., NY. Bridget Gagan died on 11 October 1947 at Utica, Oneida Co., NY, at age 89.

     Mary Frances Messenger was born on 12 November 1886 at Utica, Oneida Co., NY. She was the daughter of Irving Messenger and Bridget Gagan. Mary Frances Messenger married Charles Henry Lange on 23 November 1910 at Syracuse, Onondaga Co., NY. Mary Frances Messenger died on 9 December 1940 at Utica, Oneida Co., NY, at age 54.

     Charles Henry Lange was born on 10 June 1879 at Utica, Oneida Co., NY. He married Mary Frances Messenger, daughter of Irving Messenger and Bridget Gagan, on 23 November 1910 at Syracuse, Onondaga Co., NY. Charles Henry Lange died on 29 April 1932 at Utica, Oneida Co., NY, at age 52.

     Eli Winchell Jr. was born on 30 September 1802 at Turkey Hills (now East Granby), Hartford Co., CT. He was the son of Eli Winchell and Abigail Phelps. Eli Winchell Jr. married Wealthy Permelia Gillett, daughter of Rodolphus Gillett and Theodosia Dewey, circa 1831 at Southwick, Hampden Co., MA.

     Wealthy Permelia Gillett was born on 29 November 1813 at Granby, Hartford Co., CT. She was the daughter of Rodolphus Gillett and Theodosia Dewey. Wealthy Permelia Gillett married Eli Winchell Jr., son of Eli Winchell and Abigail Phelps, circa 1831 at Southwick, Hampden Co., MA. Wealthy Permelia Gillett died on 25 June 1904 at Utica, Oneida Co., NY, at age 90.

     Eli Winchell was born on 20 May 1767 at Turkey Hills (now East Granby), Hartford Co., CT. He was the son of Lt. Elisha Winchell and Mary Thrall. Eli Winchell married Abigail Phelps on 27 December 1790. Eli Winchell died on 7 April 1859 at East Granville, MA, at age 91.

     Abigail Phelps was born in 1769; based on age at death. She married Eli Winchell, son of Lt. Elisha Winchell and Mary Thrall, on 27 December 1790. Abigail Phelps died on 19 June 1845 at Granville, Hampden Co., MA.

     Cornelia Frothingham was the daughter of Samuel Frothingham Esq.¹ Cornelia Frothingham married Joshua Huntington Wolcott, son of Frederick Wolcott and Elizabeth Huntington, on 12 November 1844.¹ Cornelia Frothingham died on 1 June 1850.¹

     Gov. Roger Wolcott was born on 13 July 1847.¹ He was the son of Joshua Huntington Wolcott and Cornelia Frothingham.¹ Gov. Roger Wolcott died on 21 December 1900 at Boston, Suffolk Co., MA, at age 53.²

     Fred Truesdell was born in 1872 at IA.¹ He was the son of Cornelius Truesdell and Mary Manor.¹ Fred Truesdell married Sadie Holcombe, daughter of Benjamin Bunyan Holcombe and Loretta Jane Swift, on 26 May 1915 at Correctionville, Woodbury Co., IA.¹ Fred Truesdell died on 11 March 1957.¹ He was buried at Correctionville Cemetery, Correctionville, Woodbury Co., IA.¹

     George W. Waggoner was born in 1878 at PA.^1,2 He married Addie Holcombe, daughter of Benjamin Bunyan Holcombe and Loretta Jane Swift, on 3 October 1906 at Correctionville, Woodbury Co., IA.¹ George W. Waggoner died in July 1955.¹ He was buried at Correctionville Cemetery, Correctionville, Woodbury Co., IA.¹

     Lorraine Waggoner was born on 8 August 1907 at IA.^1,2,3 She was the daughter of George W. Waggoner and Addie Holcombe.¹ Lorraine Waggoner died in January 1976 at age 68.³

     Lowell Waggoner was born on 16 December 1909 at IA.^1,2,3 He was the son of George W. Waggoner and Addie Holcombe.¹ Lowell Waggoner died in August 1975 at age 65.³

Knox died in May 1947 at Sioux City, Woodbury Co., IA, at age 89.¹ He was buried on 10 May 1947 at Correctionville Cemetery, Correctionville, Woodbury Co., IA.¹

     Clarence Knox was born on 27 May 1908 at Correctionville, Woodbury Co., IA.^1,2 He was the son of Joseph H. Knox and Mary Ellen Holcombe.¹ Clarence Knox married Sarah A. Emmaline Johnson circa 1929.² Clarence Knox died in December 1986 at NY at age 78.³

Clarence and Sarah were enumerated in the 1930 Siouix City, Woodbury Co., IA, federal census. He was a packing house laborer age 21, she was 24. They had recently married. Sarah's children from a previous marriage (to Pearle Edmond Trotter) were also in the household, William Trotter, Lavson Trotter, and Harry Trotter. Daughter Edith was 1 month old.

     Sarah A. Emmaline Johnson was born on 17 January 1907 at Wakonda, Clay Co., SD.¹ She married Clarence Knox, son of Joseph H. Knox and Mary Ellen Holcombe, circa 1929.¹ Sarah A. Emmaline Johnson died on 21 December 1946 at Sioux City, Clay Co., SD, at age 39.²

     Lucy Fitch was born circa 1698 at Norwich, New London Co., CT. She was the daughter of Maj. James Fitch and Elizabeth Mason. Lucy Fitch married Henry Cleveland on 19 March 1718/19 at Canterbury, Windham Co., CT. Lucy Fitch died after 1761 at Mansfield, Tolland Co., CT.

     Henry Cleveland was born on 22 December 1699 at Chelmsford, Middlesex Co., MA. He married Lucy Fitch, daughter of Maj. James Fitch and Elizabeth Mason, on 19 March 1718/19 at Canterbury, Windham Co., CT. Henry Cleveland died in 1779 at Mansfield, Tolland Co., CT.

She married George David Cleveland, son of David Hawkes Cleveland and Eliza Littlefield, on 28 June 1866 at Steuben Co., IN. Nancy Jane Kirkland died on 18 April 1923 at age 77.
