     Norman lived on the Granby, CT, homestead and worked as a taxidermist. ² Norman Elmore was born on 24 October 1836.¹ He was the son of Lewis Elmore and Laura Goodrich.¹

     John was enumerated in the 1860 Faribault, Rice Co., MN. He was an attorney at law. John Case was born circa 1832.^1,2 He was the son of Dr. Jairus Case and Mary Theresa Higley.¹

     Ellenetta Calista Hayes was born on 21 August 1842 at Verona, Oneida Co., NY.¹ She was the daughter of Perkins Elizur Hayes and Susan Randell.¹ Ellenetta Calista Hayes died on 30 October 1855 at Verona, Oneida Co., NY, at age 13.¹

     McPherson states that he was in Cedar Rapids, IA, and in the 1860 census of that place, there is a Henry, age 38 with a wife, Hulda, and three children. Henry Church was born circa 1821 at CT.¹ He was the son of Jonathan Church and Mehitable Hayes.¹

     Emma Frances Hayes was born on 17 August 1861 at Verona, Oneida Co., NY.¹ She was the daughter of Perkins Elizur Hayes and Susan Randell.¹ Emma Frances Hayes married Simon Jerome Wilson MD, son of John Wilson and Nancy Maria Bateman, on 1 September 1880 at Verona, Oneida Co., NY.¹

     (?) Crocker married Jane Church, daughter of Jonathan Church and Mehitable Hayes.¹

     Nancy Maria Bateman married John Wilson say 1850.¹

     Charles Crocker was born circa 1849.¹ He was the son of (?) Crocker and Jane Church.¹

     Helen Jerusha Hopson was born circa 1825 at Scriba, NY.^1,2 She was the daughter of Simeon Hopson and Ruth Cowring.¹ Helen Jerusha Hopson married Anson Everis Hayes, son of Elizur Hayes and Sarah A. Pratt, on 4 July 1848 at Ft. Atkinson, WI.¹ Helen Jerusha Hopson died on 24 July 1852 at Waterloo, Jefferson Co., WI.¹

     Calvin B. Dibble was born circa 1810 at CT.¹ He married Laura Hayes, daughter of Seth Hayes Jr. and Eunice Hoskins.

     Mary Folsom was born on 2 October 1825 at Holland, NY.¹ She was the daughter of Rev. Abraham Folsom and Miriam Bean.¹ Mary Folsom married Anson Everis Hayes, son of Elizur Hayes and Sarah A. Pratt, on 14 May 1854.¹

     Charles W. Dibble was born circa 1854 at CT.¹ He was the son of Calvin B. Dibble and Laura Hayes.¹ Charles W. Dibble died on 15 December 1875.

     Caroline Bartow was born circa 1820 at OH.² She married Byron Kendall, son of Elam Kendall and Flora Hayes, on 29 December 1842.¹

     Estella Joanna Kendall was born on 12 September 1848 at IL.¹ She was the daughter of Byron Kendall and Caroline Bartow.¹ Estella Joanna Kendall died on 20 October 1853 at age 5.

     Orellia P. Hayes was born on 9 May 1823.¹ She was the daughter of Elizur Hayes and Sarah A. Pratt.¹ Orellia P. Hayes died on 6 February 1861 at age 37.²

     Hiram Squires married Mary Hodge.¹

     Floretta Kendall was born on 29 January 1855 at IL.¹ She was the daughter of Byron Kendall and Caroline Bartow.¹ Floretta Kendall married Morton J. Springer on 17 March 1881.¹

     Milo was a lawyer in Delaware, Ohio. They had four sons and four daughters. Two of their sons were union soldiers, serving under Gen. Grant and were killed in action. ² Milo D. Pettibone was born on 28 August 1793 at Granby, Hartford Co., CT.¹ He was the son of Gen. Chauncey Pettibone and Theodosia Hayes.¹ Milo D. Pettibone died on 12 September 1842 at Delaware, Delaware Co., OH, at age 49.

     Maranda Hayes was born circa 1852 at PA.¹ She was the daughter of Marshall Hillyer Hayes and Sarah (?)¹

     "H.R." was enumerated in the 1850 Fort Winnebago, Columbia Co., WI, federal census in the household of his son, Chauncey. Apparently Jane had died.

Hiram was enumerated in the 1860 Portage, Columbia Co., WI, federal census. He was an attorney at law, age 64. Also enumerated were Azabia 44 and the family of son M. H. Pettibone (Milo). Milo was a merchant age 37, with wife Annetta 34, and children Ann 7, Chauncey 4, and Charles 2.

Hiram was enumerated in the 1870 Portage, Columbia Co., WI, federal census. He was a Justice of the Peace, age 74. Also enumerated in the household was Azuba H. Pettibone, 54. Hiram R. Pettibone was born on 16 May 1796 at Granby, Hartford Co., CT.¹ He was the son of Gen. Chauncey Pettibone and Theodosia Hayes.¹ Hiram R. Pettibone married Jane Curtis in 1816.² Hiram R. Pettibone married Azuba (?) after 1850.

     Alice Kendall was born on 8 September 1844 at IL.¹ She was the daughter of Byron Kendall and Caroline Bartow.¹

     Drayton Hillyer married Elizabeth Pettibone, daughter of Gen. Chauncey Pettibone and Theodosia Hayes.¹

     Chauncey and Caroline E. were enumerated in the 1850 Fort Winnebago, Columbia Co., WI, federal census. He was a merchant age 33, she was 26. Children in the household were Maria 7 and Chauncey 4. Also in the household were Alfred Pettibone 16, and H.R. Pettibone 56 a lawyer.

Chauncey and "Cordelia" were enumerated in the 1860 Portage, Columbia Co., WI, federal census. He was a merchant, age 40, she was 36. Children in the household were Maria 16, Chauncey 14, Emma 8, and Nettie 1. Also in the household was Nate Peabody 19.

Chauncey and Charlotte were enumerated in the 1880 Fond Du Lac, Fond Du Lac Co., WI, federal census. He was a dry goods merchant, age 63, she was 35. Children in the household were Nettie 21, and Anna 19. Also enumerated was Louis A. Pettibone, age 7, an adopted step son, and HR. Pettibone, age 84.

There were three other children that died young. ² Chauncey J. Pettibone was born on 3 March 1817.¹ He was the son of Hiram R. Pettibone and Jane Curtis.¹ Chauncey J. Pettibone married Caroline E. Peabody in 1838 at Fremont, Sandusky Co., OH.¹ Chauncey J. Pettibone married Charlotte A. Champion on 1 July 1878.³

     Adela Jane Kendall was born on 2 May 1853 at IL.¹ She was the daughter of Byron Kendall and Caroline Bartow.¹ Adela Jane Kendall married Edwin Jennings on 27 October 1881.¹

     Milo H. Pettibone died at Portage, Columbia Co., WI.¹ He was the son of Hiram R. Pettibone and Jane Curtis.¹

     McPherson indicates that Lamira married 1st a Green or Lynn; 2nd in Ohio; she had children. Lamira Pettibone was born on 20 March 1798 at Granby, Hartford Co., CT.¹ She was the daughter of Gen. Chauncey Pettibone and Theodosia Hayes.¹

     William C. and Caroline were enumerated in the 1870 Green Bay, Brown Co., WI, federal census. He was a wholesale dry good merchant age 41, she was 40. Children in the household were Hatfield 18, and Caroline 16. William C. Pettibone was born circa 1828 at CT.^1,2 He was the son of Hiram R. Pettibone and Jane Curtis.¹

     Sarah Mary Hayes was born on 4 May 1849 at WI.¹ She was the daughter of Anson Everis Hayes and Helen Jerusha Hopson.¹ Sarah Mary Hayes married John Allen Wetmore, son of Moses M. Wetmore and Mary Allen, on 15 September 1871.¹

     Oscar Pettibone died at OH; young.¹ He was the son of Hiram R. Pettibone and Jane Curtis.¹

     Alfred W. Pettibone was the son of Hiram R. Pettibone and Jane Curtis.¹

     Chauncey V. Pettibone was born on 19 July 1845.¹ He was the son of Chauncey J. Pettibone and Caroline E. Peabody.¹

     Charlotte E. Hayes was born on 1 April 1817 at Granby, Hartford Co., CT.¹ She was the daughter of Elizur Hayes and Sarah A. Pratt.¹ Charlotte E. Hayes died on 20 August 1842 at Enfield, NY, at age 25; unmarried.¹

     F. E. Spooner married Maria Pettibone, daughter of Chauncey J. Pettibone and Caroline E. Peabody.¹

     Harriet P. Minor was born circa 1828 at OH. She married Jerome N. Kendall, son of Elam Kendall and Flora Hayes, circa 1860.¹

     Sarah (?) was born circa 1830 at Ireland.¹ She married Marshall Hillyer Hayes, son of Benjamin Sheldon Hayes and Maria Hillyer, say 1850.¹
