     Otis Reed Kendall was born circa January 1850 at IL.¹ He was the son of Orson Kendall and Maria Reed.¹

     Mary Jane Hayes was born on 2 August 1850.¹ She was the daughter of Nathan Seward Hayes and Jane Naomi Bridge.¹ Mary Jane Hayes married Dr. Merritt Byron Fairchild on 12 October 1870 at New Hartford, NY.¹

     Morton J. Kendall was born circa 1851 at IL.¹ He was the son of Orson Kendall and Maria Reed.¹

     Jane Naomi Bridge was born on 12 October 1823 at Augusta, Oneida Co., NY.¹ She was the daughter of William Bridge and Mary Patterson.¹ Jane Naomi Bridge married Nathan Seward Hayes, son of Elizur Hayes and Sarah A. Pratt, on 14 October 1848 at Augusta, Oneida Co., NY.¹ Jane Naomi Bridge died on 30 April 1877 at New Hartford, NY, at age 53.¹

     William A. Kendall was born circa 1846 at IA.¹ He was the son of Albert Kendall and Sarah C. Higley.¹

     Phoebe Granger was born on 5 January 1745.¹ She was the daughter of John Granger and Dinah Holcombe.¹ Phoebe Granger married (?) Hopkins.¹ Phoebe Granger married (?) Terry.¹

     Wellington was a car manufacturer, Marion, Ia. Carriage maker, Bloomington, Ill, Muscatine and Marion Ia. ² Wellington J. Kendall was born circa 1850 at IA.¹ He was the son of Albert Kendall and Sarah C. Higley.¹

     Jerusha Stevens was born on 19 October 1704.¹ She married Daniel Griswold, son of John Griswold and Bathsheba North, on 9 May 1722 or 9 March 1722 at Killingworth, Middlesex Co., CT.¹ Jerusha Stevens married Benjamin DeWolf after 10 September 1737.²

     Emily Griswold was born on 2 June 1833 at Dryden, Tompkins Co., NY.^1,2 She was the daughter of Abram Griswold and Margaret Givens.¹ Emily Griswold died on 1 April 1855 at age 21.^1,2

     Walter was a farmer in Florida. ² Walter Barron Kendall was born on 4 June 1846 at IL.¹ He was the son of Byron Kendall and Caroline Bartow.¹

     Maria Reed was born circa 1812 at New Brunswick, Canada.¹ She married Orson Kendall, son of Elam Kendall and Flora Hayes, circa 1838.¹

     Wellington B. Kendall was born on 21 September 1850 at IL.¹ He was the son of Byron Kendall and Caroline Bartow.¹ Wellington B. Kendall died on 23 October 1853 at age 3.¹

     "K.H." and "C.G" were enumerated in the 1880 Barrington, Cook Co., IL, federal census. He was a physician, age 25, she was 22. Also in the household was step-daughter J.M. Beckwith.

C.H. and Carrie A. were enumerated in the 1900 Barrington, Cook Co., IL, federal census. He was a physician, age 41, she was 41. There were no children in the household but the census indicated that Carrie had given birth to one child and none were still living.

Widow Carrie was enumerated in the 1910 Barrington, Cook Co., IL, federal census. She was 51. Colt Henry Kendall was born on 18 July 1858 at IL.¹ He was the son of Byron Kendall and Caroline Bartow.¹ Colt Henry Kendall married Carrie (?) on 27 March 1879 at Barrington, Cook Co., IL.¹

     Lydia Granger was the daughter of John Granger and Dinah Holcombe.¹ Lydia Granger married Cornish Dibble.¹

     Flora H. Kendall was born circa 1840 at IL.¹ She was the daughter of Orson Kendall and Maria Reed.¹

     The Griswold Genealogy calls her Mary Ann, the Abram Griswold bible calls her Nancy Ann. Nancy Ann Griswold was born on 18 January 1820.^1,2 She was the daughter of Abram Griswold and Margaret Givens.¹ Nancy Ann Griswold died on 25 February 1845 at age 25.^1,2

     Jerome N. Kendall II died; in infancy. He was the son of Jerome N. Kendall and Harriet P. Minor.¹

     Margaret Griswold was born on 30 May 1822 at Dryden, Tompkins Co., NY.^1,2 She was the daughter of Abram Griswold and Margaret Givens.³ Margaret Griswold married Joseph Fred Space.⁴ Margaret Griswold died in October 1855 at age 33.⁴

     Child Kendall died; in infancy. Child Kendall was the child of Jerome N. Kendall and Harriet P. Minor.¹

     Harriet Griswold was born on 22 April 1830 at Dryden, Tompkins Co., NY.^1,2 She was the daughter of Abram Griswold and Margaret Givens.¹ Harriet Griswold died on 24 July 1861 at age 31.¹

     Marshall and Sarah were enumerated in the 1860 Washington, Washington Co., PA, federal census. He was a coach trimmer, age 33, she was 29. Children in the household were Maranda 7, Sheldon 5, and Virgil 3. Father S.B. was enumerated nearby.

In 1870 Marshall and family were enumerated in his father's household. Marshall Hillyer Hayes was born on 19 June 1827 at CT.¹ He was the son of Benjamin Sheldon Hayes and Maria Hillyer.¹ Marshall Hillyer Hayes married Sarah (?) say 1850.²

     Sheldon B. Hayes was born circa 1854 at PA.¹ He was the son of Marshall Hillyer Hayes and Sarah (?)¹

     Frances Wakely was the daughter of Jerusha Griswold. Frances Wakely married James Sweetland say 1818.¹

     Virgil C. Hayes was born circa 1856 at PA.¹ He was the son of Marshall Hillyer Hayes and Sarah (?)¹

     Rettie Van Tine married Morris F. Sweetland, son of Lafayette Sweetland and Lydia Griswold, on 1 January 1879 at Dryden, Tompkins Co., NY.^1,2

     George L. Hayes was born circa 1862 at CT.¹ He was the son of Marshall Hillyer Hayes and Sarah (?)¹

     Fanny M. Sweetland was born on 18 December 1854 at Dryden, Tompkins Co., NY.¹ She was the daughter of Lafayette Sweetland and Lydia Griswold.¹ Fanny M. Sweetland married Morris Davenport on 28 November 1871.^1,2 Fanny M. Sweetland died on 8 February 1921 at Phoenix, Maricopa Co., AZ, at age 66.³

     Cullen Hayes was buried at Old Salmonbrook Cemetery, Granby, Hartford Co., CT.²

Cullen was a farmer on the old homestead at Bush Hill, two miles west of Salmonbrook, Hartford Co., CT; had by his father and grandfather by inheritance, improved with "a fine large square old building with hip roof" seen from Salmon brook, standing in June 1875 in view of Salmonbrook where Cullen was interviewed then at age 81 years from which interview was laid the foundation for the genealogical book, "George Hayes of Windsor," he being a fine scholar in classical and historical literature as well as a careful and diligent antiquarium. The hayes and allied families are deeply indebted to him for preserving and making available to them their early history in america. He passed his long life in this rural home. He died unmarried. ³ He was born on 10 November 1794.¹ He was the son of Seth Hayes and Mehitable Topping.¹ Cullen Hayes died on 12 March 1878 at Granby, Hartford Co., CT, at age 83.²

     Mary Sophronia Purvis married William Orris Sweetland, son of Lafayette Sweetland and Lydia Griswold, on 11 September 1877.^1,2

     Ansel Hayes was born on 4 August 1796.¹ He was the son of Seth Hayes and Mehitable Topping.¹ Ansel Hayes married Calita Boies on 6 December 1832 at Pontiac, IL.² Ansel Hayes died on 23 October 1857 at Pontiac, IL, at age 61.²

     Sarah A. Pratt was born on 16 August 1787 at Granby, Hartford Co., CT.¹ She married Elizur Hayes, son of Benjamin Hayes and Rosanna Hayes, on 4 October 1809 at Granby, Hartford Co., CT.¹ Sarah A. Pratt died on 16 November 1848 at age 61.¹

     Lewis Elmore was born on 28 January 1808 at Peru, Clinton Co., NY.¹ He was the son of Asa Elmore and Marcia Hall.¹ Lewis Elmore married Laura Goodrich, daughter of David Goodrich and Hilpah Hayes, on 16 December 1835 at Albany, Albany Co., NY.¹

     Calista Sarah Hayes was born on 17 August 1810 at Granby, Hartford Co., CT. She was the daughter of Elizur Hayes and Sarah A. Pratt. Calista Sarah Hayes married Barton Burgess on 7 April 1833.¹ Calista Sarah Hayes died on 21 June 1841 at age 30.¹

     Ruth H. Kendall was born circa 1853 at IL.¹ She was the daughter of Orson Kendall and Maria Reed.¹

     Sarah C. Higley was born circa 1820 at CT.¹ She married Albert Kendall, son of Elam Kendall and Flora Hayes, circa 1845.¹

     Peter Rawson Taft was born on 14 April 1785 at Uxbridge, Worcester Co., MA.^1,2 He was the son of Aaron Taft and Rhoda Rawson.³ Peter Rawson Taft married Sylvia Howard, daughter of Levi Howard and Bethia Chapin, on 5 December 1810.^1,2
