     Austria M. Holcombe was born in 1840. She was the daughter of Larmon Holcombe and Hilpah Freelove Griffin. Austria M. Holcombe died on 15 August 1844.

     Elizabeth Gillet was born on 17 October 1743. She was the daughter of Joseph Gillett and Elizabeth Hayes. Elizabeth Gillet married Ezekiel Holcombe, son of Lt. David Holcombe and Mehitable Buttolph, circa 1761.

Carol Laun of the Salmon Brook Historical Society reports that Elizabeth Hayes Gillet in her will of 1805, left $1 to her grandson Ezekiel Holcomb Jr. - the only grandchild mentioned in the will. Proof that her daughter was married to Ezekiel Holcombe. ¹

     Dr. Frances June Keller was born on 3 June 1906 at Walla Walla Co., WA.¹ She married Dr. Warren Gamaliel Harding II, son of Dr. George Tryon Harding Jr. and Elsie Weaver.¹ Dr. Frances June Keller died on 26 March 1992 at OH at age 85.¹ She was buried at Marion Cemetery, Marion, Marion Co., OH.¹

     Ezekiel Holcombe Jr. was born circa 1762 at Simsbury, Hartford Co., CT. He was the son of Ezekiel Holcombe and Elizabeth Gillet. Ezekiel Holcombe Jr. married Suzanne Griffin on 10 December 1783 at Turkey Hills (now East Granby), Hartford Co., CT. Ezekiel Holcombe Jr. died on 15 May 1836 at Edinburg, Saratoga Co., NY.^1,2,3

Their marriage is listed in the Church Records of Turkey Hills of Ezekiel Holcomb Jr. to Susanna Griffin of Simsbury, December 10, 1783.

     Phares Holcombe was born on 20 January 1785. He was the son of Ezekiel Holcombe and Jemima Griffin.

According to McPherson, Phares lived at Belchertown, Hampshire Co. and at Ludlow, Hampden Co., Mass from 1814 to 1850.

     Heman Holcombe was born on 6 September 1776 at NY. He was the son of Ezekiel Holcombe and Jemima Griffin. Heman Holcombe married Lois Learned. Heman Holcombe died on 25 October 1854 at age 78. He was buried at Old Marcellus Village Cemetery, Marcellus, Onondaga Co., NY.¹

Possibly the Hemon Holcombe d. 25 Oct 1854 age 78 years 1 month, bur. Old Marcellus Village Cemetery, NY. This Hemon had wife Lois who died 6 Feb 1862 ae 88, buried in the Old Village Cemetery Marcellus, NY.

     Jemima Holcombe was born on 25 August 1780. She was the daughter of Ezekiel Holcombe and Jemima Griffin.

     Reuben Holcombe was born circa 1818 at MA. He was the son of Phares Holcombe and Hannah (?)

McPherson notes that Reuben is recorded in the 1870 Census of Streator, LaSalle Co., IL as a laborer.

     Child Cowles was the child of Ebenezer Cowles and Mercy Barber. Child Cowles died on 2 April 1787.

     Abigail Cowles was born in 1776. She was the daughter of Ebenezer Cowles and Mercy Barber. Abigail Cowles died on 25 August 1777.

     Solomon Cowles was born on 19 June 1779 at Norfolk, Litchfield Co., CT. He was the son of Ebenezer Cowles and Mercy Barber. Solomon Cowles married Keturah Case, daughter of Joseph Case and Lydia Mills, in April 1801. Solomon Cowles died on 7 April 1858 at Norfolk, Litchfield Co., CT, at age 78.

     Keturah Case was born on 24 June 1785 at Norfolk, Litchfield Co., CT. She was the daughter of Joseph Case and Lydia Mills. Keturah Case married Solomon Cowles, son of Ebenezer Cowles and Mercy Barber, in April 1801. Keturah Case died on 4 October 1868 at Norfolk, Litchfield Co., CT, at age 83.

     Joseph Case was born on 22 July 1753 at Simsbury, Hartford Co., CT. He was the son of Asahel Case and Dorothy Phelps.² Joseph Case died on 10 August 1804 at Austinburg, OH, at age 51.

     Joseph Nelson Cowles was born on 24 October 1805. He was the son of Solomon Cowles and Keturah Case. Joseph Nelson Cowles died on 23 November 1830 at OH at age 25.

     James Mark Cowles was born on 5 November 1807. He was the son of Solomon Cowles and Keturah Case. James Mark Cowles married Julia Baldwin, daughter of Amos Baldwin and Elizabeth Bryan, on 10 March 1830. James Mark Cowles died on 12 December 1871 at age 64.

     Julia Baldwin was born on 17 April 1809. She was the daughter of Amos Baldwin and Elizabeth Bryan. Julia Baldwin married James Mark Cowles, son of Solomon Cowles and Keturah Case, on 10 March 1830. Julia Baldwin died on 20 June 1877 at age 68.

     Loyal Cowles was born on 27 February 1810. He was the son of Solomon Cowles and Keturah Case.

     William Cowles was born on 17 November 1813. He was the son of Solomon Cowles and Keturah Case. William Cowles died on 28 April 1858 at age 44.

     Son Cowles was born on 26 September 1819; stillborn. He was the son of Solomon Cowles and Keturah Case.

     Solomon Grovenor Cowles was born on 17 February 1827. He was the son of Solomon Cowles and Keturah Case. Solomon Grovenor Cowles married Emily Clarissa Andrews, daughter of Ezra Andrews and Clarissa Wilson.

     Emily Clarissa Andrews was born on 3 June 1827. She was the daughter of Ezra Andrews and Clarissa Wilson. Emily Clarissa Andrews married Solomon Grovenor Cowles, son of Solomon Cowles and Keturah Case.

     Moses Cowles was born on 2 April 1782. He was the son of Ebenezer Cowles and Mercy Barber.

     James Cowles was the son of Ebenezer Cowles and Mercy Barber. James Cowles was baptized on 29 May 1785. He died on 14 January 1788.

     Dr. Barber lists marriage date as 1798, in an e-mail he suggests "about 1775". Azariah Barber was born on 8 March 1750 at Simsbury, Hartford Co., CT. He was the son of Sgt. Thomas Barber and Elizabeth Adams. Azariah Barber married Elizabeth Humphrey, daughter of Noah Humphrey Jr. and Elizabeth Buttolph, circa 1775. Azariah Barber died on 13 June 1817 at age 67.

     Trypnene Barber was born in 1752. She was the daughter of Sgt. Thomas Barber and Elizabeth Adams. Trypnene Barber died in 1824.

     Michael Barber was born in 1754 at Simsbury, Hartford Co., CT. He was the son of Sgt. Thomas Barber and Elizabeth Adams. Michael Barber married Azubah Brown, daughter of Capt. John Brown and Hannah Owen, in 1779. Michael Barber died on 25 June 1836.

     Abigail Barber was born in August 1758 at Simsbury, Hartford Co., CT. She was the daughter of Sgt. Thomas Barber and Elizabeth Adams. Abigail Barber married Pelatiah Richards, son of Samuel Richards and Lydia Buck, in 1779. Abigail Barber lived at New Hartford, Litchfield Co., CT. She lived at Schroon Lake, Essex Co., NY. She died on 6 January 1814 at age 55.

     Pelatiah Richards was born September 3 or 5, 1759. He was the son of Samuel Richards and Lydia Buck. Pelatiah Richards married Abigail Barber, daughter of Sgt. Thomas Barber and Elizabeth Adams, in 1779. Pelatiah Richards died in February 1827.

     Nancy Richards was born on 7 May 1780. She was the daughter of Pelatiah Richards and Abigail Barber.

     Lydia Rich was born on 21 October 1768. She married Gen. Caleb Hendee, son of Caleb Hendee and Caroline Ellsworth. Lydia Rich died on 1 August 1835 at age 66.

     Ruth Hendee was born in 1789. She was the daughter of Gen. Caleb Hendee and Lydia Rich.

     Polly Hendee was born in 1791. She was the daughter of Gen. Caleb Hendee and Lydia Rich.

     Twin Girls Hendee died at birth. She was born in 1793. She was the daughter of Gen. Caleb Hendee and Lydia Rich.

Caleb Hendee and Lydia Rich. Germain Franklin Hendee married Sara Rosette Jones. Germain Franklin Hendee died on 25 August 1863 at age 68.

     Polly Hendee was born in 1797. She was the daughter of Gen. Caleb Hendee and Lydia Rich.

     Sally Hendee was born in 1800. She was the daughter of Gen. Caleb Hendee and Lydia Rich.
