George Case was baptized on 9 February 1752 at Congregationalist; Wintonbury Church, Wintonbury, Hartford Co., CT. He died on 5 May 1793 at age 41.

     Elijah Case was born on 29 September 1750 at Simsbury, Hartford Co., CT. He was the son of Joshua Case Jr. and Lydia Griswold. Elijah Case was baptized on 7 October 1750 at Wintonbury Church, Wintonbury, Hartford Co., CT.

     Elizabeth Allen was the daughter of Thomas Allen. Elizabeth Allen was baptized on 16 September 1770 at Wintonbury Church, Wintonbury, Hartford Co., CT. She married Benjamin Case, son of Benjamin Case and Hannah Drake.

     Warren Case was born on 4 April 1791 at Simsbury, Hartford Co., CT. He was the son of Benjamin Case and Elizabeth Allen. Warren Case married Nancy Ann Viets, daughter of Luke Viets Jr. and Abigail Phelps, on 26 November 1822. Warren Case died on 30 April 1871 at age 80.

     Violet Burr was the daughter of Stephen Burr. Violet Burr married Samuel Case III, son of Samuel Case Jr. and Eunice Burr, on 7 April 1757 at Wintonbury Church, Wintonbury, Hartford Co., CT.

     Pelatiah Case was born on 28 August 1768 at Simsbury, Hartford Co., CT. He was the son of Samuel Case III and Violet Burr. Pelatiah Case married Apphia Loomis, daughter of Uriah Loomis and Apphia Sheldon. Pelatiah Case died on 25 April 1834 at NY at age 65.

     Uriah Loomis was born on 23 February 1737/38 at Windsor, Hartford Co., CT. He was the son of Uriah Loomis and Hannah Wolcott. Uriah Loomis married Apphia Sheldon, daughter of Jonathan Sheldon, on 5 July 1764. Uriah Loomis died on 28 May 1787 at Windsor, Hartford Co., CT, at age 49.

     Apphia Sheldon was born on 29 May 1687. She was the daughter of Jonathan Sheldon. Apphia Sheldon married Uriah Loomis, son of Uriah Loomis and Hannah Wolcott, on 5 July 1764.

     Apphia Loomis was born on 15 January 1771 at Windsor, Hartford Co., CT. She was the daughter of Uriah Loomis and Apphia Sheldon. Apphia Loomis married Pelatiah Case, son of Samuel Case III and Violet Burr. Apphia Loomis died on 8 May 1851 at NY at age 80.

     Edward Case was born on 11 April 1782 at Simsbury, Hartford Co., CT. He was the son of Edward Case and Zervah Lawrence. Edward Case married Rhoda Case, daughter of Asa Case and Sarah Robe, on 21 May 1806. Edward Case died on 20 July 1859 at Canton, Hartford Co., CT, at age 77. He was buried at Canton Street Cemetery, Canton, Hartford Co., CT.

     Rhoda Case was born on 23 November 1785. She was the daughter of Asa Case and Sarah Robe. Rhoda Case married Edward Case, son of Edward Case and Zervah Lawrence, on 21 May 1806. Rhoda Case died on 9 September 1867 at age 81. She was buried at Canton Street Cemetery, Canton, Hartford Co., CT.

     Philander Case was born on 7 November 1774 at Simsbury, Hartford Co., CT.² He was the son of Capt. Bartholomew Case and Ruth Owen. Philander Case married Caroline Humphrey, daughter of Capt. Amaziah Humphrey and Elizabeth Harris, on 3 April 1796 at Simsbury, Hartford Co., CT.³ Philander Case died on 18 November 1815 at age 41.² He was buried at Hopmeadow Cemetery, Simsbury, Hartford Co., CT.³

     Gandison Case was born on 6 February 1781 at Simsbury, Hartford Co., CT. He was the son of Capt. Bartholomew Case and Ruth Owen. Gandison Case died in September 1839 at PA at age 58.

     Eva Palmer was born at Perry, Lake Co., OH. She was the daughter of Walter Palmer and Lidora L. Holcombe.

     Myrta Sargent was the daughter of James D. Sargent and Eva Palmer. Myrta Sargent died young.

     Studied at the Chicago Art Institute. Paul Holcomb Winchell was born on 17 February 1903 at Concord, Lake Co., OH. He was the son of Luman Eugene Winchell and Frances Bertha Holcombe.

     George Herbert Walker was born on 11 June 1875 at St. Louis, St. Louis Co., MO.² He was the son of David Davis Walker and Martha Adela Beaky. George Herbert Walker married Lucretia Wear, daughter of James Hutchenson Wear II and Nancy Eliza Holliday, on 17 January 1899 at St. Louis, St. Louis Co., MO.² George Herbert Walker died on 24 June 1953 at New York, NY, at age 78.²

     Lucretia Wear was born on 17 September 1874 at St. Louis, St. Louis Co., MO. She was the daughter of James Hutchenson Wear II and Nancy Eliza Holliday. Lucretia Wear married George Herbert Walker, son of David Davis Walker and Martha Adela Beaky, on 17 January 1899 at St. Louis, St. Louis Co., MO.² Lucretia Wear died on 28 August 1961 at Biddeford, ME, at age 86.

     David Davis Walker was born on 19 January 1840 at near Bloomington, IL. He was the son of George E. Walker and Marriet Mercer. David Davis Walker married Martha Adela Beaky, daughter of Joseph Ambrose Beaky and Mary Ann Bangs, on 25 December 1862 at St. Louis, St. Louis Co., MO. David Davis Walker died on 4 October 1918 at Kennebunkport, York Co., ME, at age 78.

     Martha Adela Beaky was born on 1 June 1841 at Emmitsburg, MD. She was the daughter of Joseph Ambrose Beaky and Mary Ann Bangs.² Martha Adela Beaky married David Davis Walker, son of George E. Walker and Marriet Mercer, on 25 December 1862 at St. Louis, St. Louis Co., MO. Martha Adela Beaky died on 1 July 1917 at Kennebunkport, York Co., ME, at age 76.³

     James Hutchenson Wear II was born on 30 September 1839 at Otterville, MO.² He was the son of William Gault Wear and Sarah Amanda Yancey. James Hutchenson Wear II married Nancy Eliza Holliday, daughter of John James Holliday and Lucretia Green Foree, on 4 December 1866 at St. Louis, St. Louis Co., MO. James Hutchenson Wear II died on 14 December 1893 at St. Louis, St. Louis Co., MO, at age 54.

     Nancy Eliza Holliday was the daughter of John James Holliday and Lucretia Green Foree. Nancy Eliza Holliday married James Hutchenson Wear II, son of William Gault Wear and Sarah Amanda Yancey, on 4 December 1866 at St. Louis, St. Louis Co., MO.

     Lucretia Green Foree was born on 20 September 1822 at KY.¹ She died on 25 August 1903 at St. Joseph, Buchannan Co., MO, at age 80.¹

     William Porter was born circa 1843. He was the son of Francis C. Porter and Amanda Holcombe.

     Elizabeth Porter was born in 1846. She was the daughter of Francis C. Porter and Amanda Holcombe.

     Amanda Porter was born in 1854 at PA. She was the daughter of Francis C. Porter and Amanda Holcombe.

     Daughter Holcombe was the daughter of Pliny Holcombe and Rachel Eno. Michael's sister married and her husband became joint publisher with Michael of the Cumberland Gazette in Carlisle, PA.

     Daughter Tizzard was the daughter of (?) Tizzard and Daughter Holcombe.

     Ira Edgar Pike was born circa 1852.¹ He was the son of Seneca Harold Pike and Cynthia Elvira Hall.

     Caleb Hill was born on 23 July 1770 at Granville, Washington Co., NY.^1,2 He was the son of Jonathan Hill and Barbara Aylesworth.¹ Caleb Hill married Cynthia Strong, daughter of Seth Strong III, on 1 August 1790.¹ Caleb Hill died on 16 August 1814 at Isle La Motte, Grand Isle Co., VT, at age 44.²

Caleb came to Isle La Motte, VT, about 1806 among the first settlers of the town, where he remained until his death. He was a hotel-keeper on the north end, and was shot by an American officer in the War of 1812 in his own house. He cleared several farms and owned a good share of the land on Isle La Motte at that time. ³

From a biography written by his son Ira: "I have an aversion to writing biography, but, by the urgent desire of many friends, concluded to write something of myself, aware that others have the same privilege. My father's name was Caleb HILL; my mother's maiden name was Cynthia STRONG. They raised 12 children, of whom I was the second. They brought me to Isle-La-Mott, April 7, 1803. I was born in Granville, Washington Co., N. Y., Aug. 14, 1793, and have resided in Isle-La-Mott, since 1803. In 1812. my father was captain of the company of militia of the Island, and received orders for a detachment of 7 men from his company, and hoping that volunteers would he found, rather than have a draft, requested me to volunteer for 6 months actual service, which I did, and others also, to complete the number required. That service ended, I was enrolled as a minute-man.
