     Matthew L. Porter was born on 22 February 1909 at Iowa Falls, IA. He was the son of David Wallace Porter and Minnie Leona Rankin. Matthew L. Porter died on 18 November 1973 at University Hospital, Iowa City, Johnson Co, IA, at age 64.¹

     Dale Porter was born on 29 July 1911 at Iowa Falls, IA. He was the son of David Wallace Porter and Minnie Leona Rankin. Dale Porter died on 29 January 1966 at Longmont, CO, at age 54.

     Clara Porter was born on 25 January 1913 at Iowa Falls, IA. She was the daughter of David Wallace Porter and Minnie Leona Rankin. Clara Porter died on 11 December 1998 at Columbia Drs. Regional Hospital, Corpus Christi, TX, at age 85.

     Noble Porter was born on 28 January 1914 at Iowa Falls, IA. He was the son of David Wallace Porter and Minnie Leona Rankin. Noble Porter lived in July 1999 at 1020 Pearl Street; (515) 648-9126, Iowa Falls, IA.

     Russell Porter was born on 12 January 1920 at Iowa Falls, IA. He was the son of David Wallace Porter and Minnie Leona Rankin. Russell Porter died on 20 January 1986 at Kaneoke, HI, at age 66.

     Milo Deforest Hamilton was born on 22 September 1901 at Hardin Co., IA. He married Mamie Marietta Porter, daughter of David Wallace Porter and Minnie Leona Rankin, on 28 February 1922 at Iowa Falls, IA. Milo Deforest Hamilton died on 28 August 1935 at Hancock Co., IA, at age 33. Milo was killed as he was driving his tractor home from threshing. He was near the edge of the road and the road gave way, the tractor tipped over and killed him. Mamie was pregnant with Carole Ann and gave birth to her after Milo died.

     Donald Deforest Hamilton was born on 18 January 1923 at Franklin Co., IA.¹ He was the son of Milo Deforest Hamilton and Mamie Marietta Porter. Donald Deforest Hamilton died on 17 August 1996 at Britt, Hancock Co., IA, at age 73.² He was buried on 22 August 1996 at Concord Township Cemetery, Garner, IA.

     Alan Ganfield Hamilton was born on 11 November 1924 at Franklin Co., IA.¹ He was the son of Milo Deforest Hamilton and Mamie Marietta Porter. Alan Ganfield Hamilton died on 28 April 1991 at Mesa, Maricopa Co., AZ, at age 66.² He was buried at Veterans Cemetery, Phoenix, Maricopa Co., AZ.

     Carole Ann Hamilton-Holecek was born on 20 October 1935 at Hancock Co., IA. She was the daughter of Milo Deforest Hamilton and Mamie Marietta Porter. Carole Ann Hamilton-Holecek was adopted on 28 September 1942. She married Roger Lewis Halfpop on 2 April 1953 at Hayfield, Hancock Co., IA.

He married Mamie Marietta Porter, daughter of David Wallace Porter and Minnie Leona Rankin, on 12 August 1939 at Little Brown Church, Nashua, Chickasaw Co, IA. Otto Holecek witnessed the adoption of Carole Ann Hamilton-Holecek on 28 September 1942. Otto Holecek died on 10 February 1976 at Garner, IA, at age 76.

     Roger was born about 2 miles west of Goodell, where his grandparents, Roy and Sophia Halfpop were living at the time. There are no buildings there now, buti tis at the top of the hill. Roger had a triple by-pas on February 22, 1993. Roger Lewis Halfpop was born on 20 January 1934 at Goodell, IA. He married Carole Ann Hamilton-Holecek, daughter of Milo Deforest Hamilton and Mamie Marietta Porter, on 2 April 1953 at Hayfield, Hancock Co., IA.

     Eric Lewis Halfpop died Sepember 17, 1959 at Mason City, IA. He was born on 17 September 1959 at Mason City, IA. He was the son of Roger Lewis Halfpop and Carole Ann Hamilton-Holecek. Eric Lewis Halfpop was buried on 19 September 1959 at Concord Township Cemetery, Garner, IA.

     Horatio Pritchard was born on 10 February 1838 at Columbus, Madison Co., IN. He married Frances Marian Norton, daughter of Harvey Norton and Frances Marian Austin. Horatio Pritchard died on 31 March 1922 at Madison, Greenwood Co., KS, at age 84.

     Isabelle Cecile Slade was born on 24 September 1867. She married Robert David Hooks Sr. in 1886. Isabelle Cecile Slade died on 14 September 1958 at age 90.

     Braton Harlow Pritchard was born on 21 February 1870 at Madison, Greenwood Co., KS. He was the son of Horatio Pritchard and Frances Marian Norton. Braton Harlow Pritchard married Jessie May Newman. Braton Harlow Pritchard died on 19 July 1942 at Madison, Greenwood Co., KS, at age 72.

     Daniel Frank Hayes was born on 21 August 1842.² He was the son of Daniel Columbus Hayes and Clarinda Gunilda Holcombe. Daniel Frank Hayes married Clara Otis Pratt, daughter of Otis Pratt. Daniel Frank Hayes died on 2 July 1898 at age 55.²

     Anna May (?) was born in 1881.¹ She married George Condit Hayes, son of Condit Hayes and Maria Candace Ruick, circa 1904.² Anna May (?) died in 1958.¹

     Viola May Case was born on 14 June 1887 at Village of North Granby, Granby, Hartford Co., CT. She was the daughter of Dennis Hiram Case and Geannah Lydia Edwards. Viola May Case married Frederick Clifford Young, son of Frank Young and Adelaide Fisk, on 12 November 1912 at Village of North Granby, Granby, Hartford Co., CT. Viola May Case died in 1966.²

     Frederick Clifford Young was born on 13 March 1888 at Windsor, Hartford Co., CT. He was the son of Frank Young and Adelaide Fisk. Frederick Clifford Young married Viola May Case, daughter of Dennis Hiram Case and Geannah Lydia Edwards, on 12 November 1912 at Village of North Granby, Granby, Hartford Co., CT. Frederick Clifford Young died in 1950.¹

     Emily P. Case was born circa June 1860; based on age at death. She was the daughter of Francis Case and Martha Ann Dibble. Emily P. Case died on 26 August 1861.¹

     Her married name was Mary Post. Mary L. Holcombe was born on 18 February 1831 at Granby, Hartford Co., CT.^2,3 She was the daughter of Harry Holcombe and Betsey Barton.² Mary L. Holcombe married Capt. Oliver R. Post on 8 April 1857.⁴ Mary L. Holcombe died on 27 December 1888 at age 57.⁵

McPherson, page 203.2 lists Mary's death as 5 Aug 1870; however, Mary's death date of 1888 is on her gravestone and in the Sexton's Record of when he buried her (Carol Laun).

Mary is enumerated in the 1870 Granby, Hartford Co., CT, census as head of the household. Her children Harry A., Emma, Hawley, and Frank as well as her mother Betsey, are enumerated with her. Mary also has an invalid, Samuel Lawton, and a laborer, Albert Messenger in the household.

     Rollin Julius Hayes was born on 26 September 1839.¹ He was the son of Julius Hayes and Sophia Shepard. Rollin Julius Hayes married Huldah A. Fowler. Rollin Julius Hayes died on 30 April 1898 at age 58.¹

     Huldah is recorded in the 1900 Granby census, page 3A, line 6, widowed, age 66, with son Corwin. Huldah A. Fowler was born in March 1834. She married Rollin Julius Hayes, son of Julius Hayes and Sophia Shepard. Huldah A. Fowler died on 27 March 1903.¹

     Corwin J. Hayes was the son of Rollin Julius Hayes and Huldah A. Fowler. Corwin is recorded in the 1900 Granby census, age 34, living with his widowed mother.

     Maria L. Warner was born circa 1840 at MA.¹ She was the daughter of Reuben Warner and Sally Goodwin Holcombe. Maria L. Warner married Milo Johnson Holcombe, son of Dr. Roland Holcombe and Maria Holcombe. Maria L. Warner married Henry Knapp. Maria L. Warner was buried on 17 December 1912 at Granby Center Cemetery; IV-90, Granby, Hartford Co., CT.²

     Henry R. Holcombe was born circa January 1858; based on age at death. He was the son of Milo Johnson Holcombe and Maria L. Warner. Henry R. Holcombe died on 8 October 1865.¹
