     Abigail Eggleston married Sgt. John Osborn, son of John Osborn and Ann Oldage, on 14 October 1669 at Windsor, Hartford Co., CT.¹ Abigail Eggleston died on 30 July 1689.

     Isaac Osborn was born on 6 June 1694.¹ He was the son of Sgt. John Osborn and Martha Ellsworth.

     Ida Juttin was born in 1860 at Oshkosh, Winnebago Co., WI.¹ She was the daughter of Jacob Juttin and Wealthanna Offensend.¹ Ida Juttin died on 17 December 1930 at Oshkosh, Winnebago Co., WI.¹

Ida was a school teacher and taught the writer when she was in the seventh grade. ²

     Could this be the Mary Osborn that married John Stiles? Mary Osborn was born on 10 February 1695/96.¹ She was the daughter of Sgt. John Osborn and Martha Ellsworth.

     Jacob Osborn was born on 4 January 1697/98.² He was the son of Sgt. John Osborn and Martha Ellsworth.

Jacob settled in South Windsor on 150 acres of land which his mother purchased for a sack of corn.

     Deborah (?) married Thomas Ellsworth, son of Sgt. Josiah Ellsworth and Elizabeth Holcombe.

     Sarah had a cousin, daughter of Jonathan Ellsworth, also named Sarah. The records apparently confuse the two Sarahs and show they both married Josiah Allyn. The children of Josiah Allyn will be shown here. Sarah Ellsworth was born on 9 December 1696. She was the daughter of Thomas Ellsworth and Sarah Mills. Sarah Ellsworth married Josiah Allyn, son of Hon. and Col. Matthew Allyn and Elizabeth Wolcott, on 9 February 1726. Sarah Ellsworth died on 31 May 1763 at age 66.

     Died before his father and so his children received from their grandfather the portion designed for their father. Josiah Allyn was born on 9 March 1692. He was the son of Hon. and Col. Matthew Allyn and Elizabeth Wolcott. Josiah Allyn married Sarah Ellsworth, daughter of Thomas Ellsworth and Sarah Mills, on 9 February 1726. Josiah Allyn died in February 1753 at age 60.

     Mary Palmer was born on 3 May 1637. She was the daughter of Nicholas Palmer. Mary Palmer died on 7 June 1639 at age 2.

     Elizabeth Palmer was born on 7 August 1644. She was the daughter of Nicholas Palmer.

     Matthew Grant was born on 4 January 1663/64 at Windsor, Hartford Co., CT. He was the son of Tahan Grant and Hannah Palmer. Matthew Grant died in 1664.

     Tahan Grant was born on 27 September 1665 at Windsor, Hartford Co., CT. He was the son of Tahan Grant and Hannah Palmer. Tahan Grant married Hannah Bissell, daughter of Nathaniel Bissell and Mindwell Moore, circa 1690 at Windsor, Hartford Co., CT. Tahan Grant died on 25 April 1693 at Windsor, Hartford Co., CT, at age 27.

     Hannah Grant was born on 8 June 1668 at Windsor, Hartford Co., CT. She was the daughter of Tahan Grant and Hannah Palmer. Hannah Grant married Henry Chapman, son of Edward Chapman and Elizabeth Fox, on 11 May 1692.

     Joseph Grant was born on 14 May 1673 at Windsor, Hartford Co., CT. He was the son of Tahan Grant and Hannah Palmer. Joseph Grant married Mary Warren on 1 May 1701.

     Sarah Grant was born on 19 September 1675 at Windsor, Hartford Co., CT. She was the daughter of Tahan Grant and Hannah Palmer. Sarah Grant married Jonathan Ellsworth, son of Sgt. Josiah Ellsworth and Elizabeth Holcombe, on 26 October 1693 at Windsor, Hartford Co., CT. Sarah Grant died on 9 November 1755 at age 80.²

     Grant (?) was born on 11 November 1680 at Windsor, Hartford Co., CT. He was the son of Tahan Grant and Hannah Palmer. Grant (?) died on 14 November 1680 at Windsor, Hartford Co., CT.

     Jonathan Ellsworth was born on 11 March 1695/96 at Windsor, Hartford Co., CT.¹ He was the son of Jonathan Ellsworth and Sarah Grant. Jonathan Ellsworth died in 1712.

     Sarah Ellsworth was born on 8 January 1698 at Windsor, Hartford Co., CT.¹ She was the daughter of Jonathan Ellsworth and Sarah Grant.

There were two Sarahs, cousins, the other is the first child of Thomas Ellsworth and Sara Mills. Records are confused and show both marrying Josiah Allen. The children of Josiah Allyn will be continued under the Thomas Ellsworth line.

     Nathaniel Ellsworth Sgt. was born on 3 December 1699. He was the son of Thomas Ellsworth and Sarah Mills. Nathaniel Ellsworth Sgt. married Abigail Strong, daughter of Sgt. John Strong and Hannah Trumbull, on 1 January 1729 at Windsor, Hartford Co., CT.

     William Ellsworth was born on 15 April 1702. He was the son of Thomas Ellsworth and Sarah Mills. William Ellsworth married Mary Oliver, daughter of Nathaniel Oliver and Elizabeth Brattle, on 16 June 1737. William Ellsworth died on 19 January 1759 at Harwinton, Litchfield Co., CT, at age 56.

     Mary Oliver was the daughter of Nathaniel Oliver and Elizabeth Brattle. Mary Oliver married William Ellsworth, son of Thomas Ellsworth and Sarah Mills, on 16 June 1737.

     Hannah Ellsworth was born on 25 November 1704. She was the daughter of Thomas Ellsworth and Sarah Mills.

     Elizabeth Ellsworth was born on 18 November 1706. She was the daughter of Thomas Ellsworth and Sarah Mills. Elizabeth Ellsworth married David Skinner, son of Richard Skinner and Sarah Gaines, on 20 November 1728.

     David Skinner was born in 1707. He was the son of Richard Skinner and Sarah Gaines. David Skinner married Elizabeth Ellsworth, daughter of Thomas Ellsworth and Sarah Mills, on 20 November 1728.

     Richard Skinner was born on 16 January 1674.² He was the son of John Skinner and Mary Easton.² Richard Skinner married Sarah Gaines on 23 December 1702.² Richard Skinner died on 20 June 1758 at age 84.

     Sarah Gaines married Richard Skinner, son of John Skinner and Mary Easton, on 23 December 1702.¹

     John Skinner was born in 1641.² He was the son of John Skinner and Mary Loomis. John Skinner married Mary Easton. John Skinner died on 15 September 1690.²

     Mary Easton married John Skinner, son of John Skinner and Mary Loomis. Mary Easton died on 18 June 1695.¹

     John Skinner married Mary Loomis, daughter of Joseph Loomis and Mary White.¹ John Skinner died in 1650.¹

     Thomas Ellsworth II was born on 10 March 1708. He was the son of Thomas Ellsworth and Sarah Mills. Thomas Ellsworth II married Sarah Loomis, daughter of John Loomis and Esther Gillet, on 26 March 1733.² Thomas Ellsworth II died on 26 September 1750 at age 42.²

     Sarah Loomis was born on 26 September 1710 at East Windsor, Hartford Co., CT. She was the daughter of John Loomis and Esther Gillet. Sarah Loomis married Thomas Ellsworth II, son of Thomas Ellsworth and Sarah Mills, on 26 March 1733.² Sarah Loomis died on 28 May 1810 at age 99.

In an Oxford Bible, data MDCCXIX, printed by John Basket, in posession of the Giles A. Bower family of W. Pt. is a record of this family.

     Loomis notes that John by his will dated 1729 gave his property to his four children, Esther, Sarah, Damaris, and John, but does not mention Abel. John Loomis was born on 1 October 1651 at Windsor, Hartford Co., CT. He was the son of Joseph Loomis Jr. and Sarah Hill. John Loomis married Esther Gillet on 30 August 1705. John Loomis died on 30 November 1732 at age 81.

     Esther Gillet married John Loomis, son of Joseph Loomis Jr. and Sarah Hill, on 30 August 1705.

She may be the Hester Gillett, daughter of Cornelius, born in Windsor 24 May 1671.

     Mary Ellsworth was born on 7 January 1710. She was the daughter of Thomas Ellsworth and Sarah Mills. Mary Ellsworth married Daniel Bidwell, son of Daniel Bidwell and Esther (?), in 1733. Mary Ellsworth died in 1777.

     Daniel Bidwell was born in 1708. He was the son of Daniel Bidwell and Esther (?) Daniel Bidwell married Mary Ellsworth, daughter of Thomas Ellsworth and Sarah Mills, in 1733. Daniel Bidwell died in 1777.

     Abigail Ellsworth was born on 14 September 1712. She was the daughter of Thomas Ellsworth and Sarah Mills. Abigail Ellsworth married John Loomis, son of John Loomis and Esther Gillet, on 5 April 1733. Abigail Ellsworth died on 6 May 1761 at age 48.

     John Loomis was born on 21 September 1713. He was the son of John Loomis and Esther Gillet. John Loomis married Abigail Ellsworth, daughter of Thomas Ellsworth and Sarah Mills, on 5 April 1733. John Loomis married Anne (?) John Loomis died on 18 October 1793 at age 80.

     Deborah Ellsworth married Daniel Blodgett, son of Daniel Blodgett and Mary Mallett. Deborah Ellsworth was born on 24 September 1714. She was the daughter of Thomas Ellsworth and Sarah Mills.

     Daniel Blodgett was the son of Daniel Blodgett and Mary Mallett. Daniel Blodgett married Deborah Ellsworth, daughter of Thomas Ellsworth and Sarah Mills.

     Eunice Ellsworth was born on 27 March 1717. She was the daughter of Thomas Ellsworth and Deborah (?) Eunice Ellsworth married Timothy Green in 1750.

     Naomi Ellsworth was born on 23 February 1719. She was the daughter of Thomas Ellsworth and Deborah (?) Naomi Ellsworth married Jonathan Brown, son of Jonathan Brown and Mindwell Loomis, in 1743.

     Jonathan Brown was born on 10 May 1718. He was the son of Jonathan Brown and Mindwell Loomis. Jonathan Brown married Naomi Ellsworth, daughter of Thomas Ellsworth and Deborah (?), in 1743.

     Eunice's husband was called Barzilla by Stiles, Timothy in other records. Timothy Green was also known as Barzilla Green. He married Eunice Ellsworth, daughter of Thomas Ellsworth and Deborah (?), in 1750.

     Abigail Strong was born on 11 May 1701. She was the daughter of Sgt. John Strong and Hannah Trumbull. Abigail Strong married Nathaniel Ellsworth Sgt., son of Thomas Ellsworth and Sarah Mills, on 1 January 1729 at Windsor, Hartford Co., CT. Abigail Strong died on 20 January 1745 or 1746.

     John Ellsworth was born in 1701 at Windsor, Hartford Co., CT.¹ He was the son of Jonathan Ellsworth and Sarah Grant. John Ellsworth died in 1760.¹

     Giles Ellsworth was born on 6 August 1703 at Windsor, Hartford Co., CT.³ He was the son of Jonathan Ellsworth and Sarah Grant. Giles Ellsworth married Hannah Stoughton, daughter of John Stoughton and Sarah Fitch, on 6 February 1728.³ Giles Ellsworth died on 20 March 1768 at age 64.

Stiles shows two different marriage dates for Giles and Hannah. In the Ellsworth section he shows 1728; in the Stoughton section he shows 1738. Hopefully, 1728 is correct since she had three children prior to 1738.
