Isaac Gillett and Susanna Root.¹ Almon Gillett married Cynthia Messenger on 25 December 1805 at Southwick, Hampden Co., MA.¹ Almon Gillett died on 8 June 1857 at Southwick, Hampden Co., MA, at age 79.¹ He was buried at Southwick Cemetery, Southwick, Hampden Co., MA.²

     Emily May Holcombe was born in 1911. She was the daughter of Rollin Henry Holcombe and Mary Jane Nadeau.

Barbaraa Janet Adams married Foster Riggs Smith on 4 November 1949 at Waterbury, Washington Co., VT. Barbaraa Janet Adams died on 8 May 2006 at Burlington, Chittenden Co., VT, at age 77. She was buried at Lakeview Cemetery, Burlington, Chittenden Co., VT.¹

     Sophie Helen Rhys-Jones was born on 20 January 1965. She married HRH The Prince Edward Antony Richard Lewis Earl of Wessex, son of HRH The Prince Philip Duke of Edinburgh and HM Queen Elizabeth Alexandra Mary, on 6 January 1999. Sophie Helen Rhys-Jones was also known as Countess of Wessex.

     Rev. William F. Davis Jr. was born on 24 September 1890.¹ He married Maud Etta Gillett, daughter of Edward Gillett and Jennie Vining, in 1920. Rev. William F. Davis Jr. died on 17 March 1946 at age 55.¹ He was buried on 21 March 1946 at Southwick Cemetery, Southwick, Hampden Co., MA.¹

Word has come of the death of Rev. William F. Davis, who had been pastor of the Methodist church at Lake Ronkonkoma, L.I. for the last four years. Mr. Davis was well known here, having married, in 1920, Miss Maud Gillett, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Edward Gillett. Mr. Davis died suddenly from a heart attack at his home. He was a graduate of Wesleyan university at Middletown, Ct., member of Phi Beta Kappa fraternity. Before going to Long Island he as pastor of the Methodist church at Watertown, Ct., for 10 years. Besides his widow, he leaves a daughter, Mary, a graduate of Wheaton college and studying for a PhD degree at the University of Minnesota. Burial will be in the Old cemetery, this town, time to be announced.
