John Garrett II died on 1 October 1811 at New Hartford, Litchfield Co., CT, at age 60.

He was buried at Riverside Cemetery, Barkhamsted, Litchfield Co., CT.

     Hon. James Humphrey was born on 25 April 1765 at West Simsbury, Hartford Co., CT. He was the son of Deacon Theophilus Humphrey and Hepzibah Cornish. Hon. James Humphrey married Keturah Case, daughter of Sgt. Daniel Case and Mary Watson. Hon. James Humphrey married Diadamia Garrett, daughter of John Garrett II and Mary Case. Hon. James Humphrey died on 26 July 1830 at age 65.

     Elizabeth Harris was born on 7 June 1777 at Saybrook, Middlesex Co., CT. She married Amery Watson Case, son of Sgt. Daniel Case and Mary Watson, on 30 August 1795.

Elam Case married Phebe Case, daughter of Hosea Case and Mary Case, on 21 November 1805. Elam Case died on 8 July 1848 at Canton, Hartford Co., CT, at age 76. He was buried at Canton Center Cemetery, Canton, Hartford Co., CT.

     Phebe Case was born on 14 July 1776 at Simsbury, Hartford Co., CT.² She was the daughter of Hosea Case and Mary Case. Phebe Case married Philemon Andrus, son of Jacob Andrus and Eunice Emmons, on 23 November 1795 at Canton, Hartford Co., CT.² Phebe Case married Elam Case, son of Sgt. Daniel Case and Mary Watson, on 21 November 1805. Phebe Case died on 14 December 1845 at Canton, Hartford Co., CT, at age 69.² She was buried at Canton Center Cemetery, Canton, Hartford Co., CT.

     Philemon Andrus was baptized on 21 July 1771 at Kensington, Hartford Co., CT.¹ He was the son of Jacob Andrus and Eunice Emmons. Philemon Andrus married Phebe Case, daughter of Hosea Case and Mary Case, on 23 November 1795 at Canton, Hartford Co., CT.¹ Philemon Andrus died in March 1804 at Barkhamsted, Litchfield Co., CT, at age 32.

Philemon and Orpha "Andrews" were enumerated in the 1860 Summit, Erie Co., PA, federal census. He was a farmer age 61, she was 55. Children in the household were Mary Ann 22, Isabella 13, Orson 36, Orson's wife Lidia M. 38, and their child Florence 6.


Orpha was enumerated in the 1880 Summit, Erie Co., PA federal census. She was 75, enumerated in the household of son Orson (enumerated as "O. B.")

Titus Case married Sarah Rebecca Eggleston, daughter of Thomas Eggleston and Rebecca Drake, on 28 January 1790. Titus Case married Phebe Tuttle on 3 July 1822 at Barkhamsted, Litchfield Co., CT.      Sarah Rebecca Eggleston was born on 22 December 1766. She was the daughter of Thomas Eggleston and Rebecca Drake. Sarah Rebecca Eggleston married Titus Case, son of Hosea Case and Mary Case, on 28 January 1790. Sarah Rebecca Eggleston died on 24 November 1821 at age 54.

     Rebecca Drake was born on 24 January 1745/46 at Windsor, Hartford Co., CT.¹ She was the daughter of Samuel Drake and Amy Kent.² Rebecca Drake died before 13 April 1799.¹

     Phebe Tuttle was born in 1782. She married Titus Case, son of Hosea Case and Mary Case, on 3 July 1822 at Barkhamsted, Litchfield Co., CT. Phebe Tuttle died in 1861.

     Rebecca Case was born on 14 November 1790 at Canton, Hartford Co., CT. She was the daughter of Titus Case and Sarah Rebecca Eggleston. Rebecca Case was baptized on 8 May 1791 at Windsor, Hartford Co., CT. She married John Garrett, son of John Garrett II and Mary Case, on 2 February 1814 at Canton, Hartford Co., CT. Rebecca Case died on 30 December 1869 at New Hartford, Litchfield Co., CT, at age 79.

     John Garrett was born on 15 June 1783 at New Hartford, Litchfield Co., CT. He was the son of John Garrett II and Mary Case. John Garrett married Rebecca Case, daughter of Titus Case and Sarah Rebecca Eggleston, on 2 February 1814 at Canton, Hartford Co., CT. John Garrett died on 23 September 1857 at New Hartford, Litchfield Co., CT, at age 74.

     Dorcas Humphrey was born on 4 February 1726 at Simsbury, Hartford Co., CT. She was the daughter of Charles Humphrey and Hepzibah Pettibone. Dorcas Humphrey married Lt. Dudley Case, son of Sgt. Daniel Case and Penelope Buttolph, on 14 April 1743 at Simsbury, Hartford Co., CT. Dorcas Humphrey died on 17 June 1805 at Canton, Hartford Co., CT, at age 79.

     Capt. James Cornish was born on 30 October 1694 at Windsor, Hartford Co., CT. He was the son of Deacon James Cornish and Elizabeth Thrall. Capt. James Cornish married Amy Butler, daughter of Thomas Butler and Abigail Shepard, on 9 December 1719 at Simsbury, Hartford Co., CT. Capt. James Cornish died on 22 March 1784 at Simsbury, Hartford Co., CT, at age 89.

James was a farmer, and resided in Simsbury, Ct., where he was one of the leading citizens. His military title was obtained through his connection with the old colonial militia or train bands, being commissioned by vote of the Connecticut General Assembly as Captain.
