     Daniel Loomis was born on 25 May 1766. He was the son of Jedediah Loomis and Sybil Case. Daniel Loomis died on 11 November 1824 at age 58.

     Loditha Moses married Joab Barber. Loditha Moses was born on 30 October 1771. She was the daughter of Abraham Moses and Mercy Case.

     Asher Case was born on 12 December 1786 at Bloomfield, Hartford Co., CT. He was the son of William Robe Case and Huldah Loomis. Asher Case married Charlotte Pettibone, daughter of David Pettibone and Naomi Case, on 13 November 1826.

     William Robe Case was born on 9 February 1750 at Simsbury, Hartford Co., CT. He was the son of Reuben Case and Ruth Goodrich. William Robe Case married Huldah Loomis, daughter of Stephen Loomis Jr. and Grace Loomis, on 3 February 1775. William Robe Case died on 30 November 1828 at age 78.

     Ruth Cost Duncan cites the Wintonbury Church record. Huldah Loomis was born on 12 December 1756. She was the daughter of Stephen Loomis Jr. and Grace Loomis. Huldah Loomis married William Robe Case, son of Reuben Case and Ruth Goodrich, on 3 February 1775. Huldah Loomis died on 2 January 1835 at age 78.

     Stephen Loomis Jr. was born on 21 August 1716 at Windsor, Hartford Co., CT. He was the son of Stephen Loomis and Mabel Hoskins. Stephen Loomis Jr. married Grace Loomis, daughter of Aaron Loomis and Deborah Eggleston, on 9 June 1743 at Windsor, Hartford Co., CT. Stephen Loomis Jr. died on 30 October 1794 at Windsor, Hartford Co., CT, at age 78.

     Grace Loomis was born on 28 April 1721. She was the daughter of Aaron Loomis and Deborah Eggleston. Grace Loomis married Stephen Loomis Jr., son of Stephen Loomis and Mabel Hoskins, on 9 June 1743 at Windsor, Hartford Co., CT.

     Hosea Case was born on 6 October 1756 at Simsbury, Hartford Co., CT.² He was the son of Hosea Case and Mary Case. Hosea Case married Rhoda Case, daughter of Amos Case and Mary Holcombe. Hosea Case married Sarah Buell, daughter of Capt. Solomon Buell and Lydia Case, on 13 December 1787 at Simsbury, Hartford Co., CT.³ Hosea Case died on 11 October 1834 at age 78.

     Amos Case was born on 8 February 1746 at Simsbury, Hartford Co., CT. He was the son of Amos Case and Mary Holcombe.

     Abel Case was born on 13 January 1748 at Simsbury, Hartford Co., CT.² He was the son of Amos Case and Mary Holcombe. Abel Case married Huldah Higley, daughter of Brewster Higley Jr. and Hester Holcombe, on 8 July 1777. Abel Case died on 29 April 1834 at Hartford Co., CT, at age 86.³

     Pliny Case was born on 2 November 1754 at Simsbury, Hartford Co., CT.² He was the son of Amos Case and Mary Holcombe. Pliny Case married Rhoda Merrill, daughter of William Merrill and Sarah Kellogg.² Pliny Case died on 25 January 1780 at West Simsbury, Hartford Co., CT, at age 25.²

     Died in the Army near New York. Seth Case was born on 3 June 1760 at Simsbury, Hartford Co., CT. He was the son of Amos Case and Mary Holcombe. Seth Case died on 3 September 1776 at age 16.

     Lucy Case was born on 22 February 1752 at Simsbury, Hartford Co., CT. She was the daughter of Amos Case and Mary Holcombe. Lucy Case married Ruggles Humphrey, son of Solomon Humphrey and Naomi Higley. Lucy Case married Solomon Buell, son of Capt. Solomon Buell and Lydia Case, on 11 August 1803.²

     Ruggles Humphrey was born on 15 October 1750 at Simsbury, Hartford Co., CT. He was the son of Solomon Humphrey and Naomi Higley. Ruggles Humphrey married Lucy Case, daughter of Amos Case and Mary Holcombe. Ruggles Humphrey died on 29 June 1802 at age 51.

     Virginia Marsh was born on 13 August 1913 at Florence, Hampshire Co., MA.¹ She married George Newton Holcombe III, son of George Newton Holcombe Jr. and Pearl Etheyln Goss, on 15 August 1934 at Lebanon, Columbia Co., NY. Virginia Marsh died on 10 November 1988 at Westfield, Hampden Co., MA, at age 75.¹ She was buried at New Southwick Cemetery, Southwick, Hampden Co., MA.¹

     George Newton Holcombe IV was born on 27 February 1935 at Northampton, MA. He was the son of George Newton Holcombe III and Virginia Marsh. George Newton Holcombe IV died on 22 December 1984 at Grand Rapids, Kent Co., MI, at age 49. He was buried at New Southwick Cemetery, Southwick, Hampden Co., MA.¹

     Donald Marsh Holcombe was born on 4 March 1941 at Springfield, Hampden Co., MA. He was the son of George Newton Holcombe III and Virginia Marsh. Donald Marsh Holcombe died on 9 June 2001 at Otis, Berkshire Co., MA, at age 60.¹ He was buried at New Southwick Cemetery, Southwick, Hampden Co., MA.²

Donald M. Holcomb, 60, of 70 Leonard Road, died Saturday at home. He was a clinical social worker at the Institute of Living in Hartford, Conn., in 1984-88, at the Westfield Area Child Guidance Center in 1968-72, and at the Menninger Foundation in Topeka, Kan., in 1972-79. He also was a psychotherapist in private practice in Westfield and Otis since 1980. Born in Springfield, he grew up in Southwick and was a 1959 graduate of Westfield High School. He received a bachelor's degree from Brigham Young University in 1963, a master's degree in social work from the University of California at Berkeley in 1967, and a master of arts degree from the Andover-Newton Theological School this year. He was a 10-year member of the United Church of Christ Board for World Ministries, served as president for the past six years, and was the intern pastor of the North Hadley Congregational Church in 1998-99. He traveled to many countries as a peace and justice advocate from 1986 to 1999. He leaves his wife, the former Merrilyn Chapin; two sons, David of Pittsburgh and Joel of Troy, N.Y; a daughter, Sarah Marchant of Cumming, Ga; and three grandchildren. The funeral will be Friday morning at United Church of Christ in Westfield, with burial at New Cemetery in Southwick. Calling hours are late Thursday afternoon into the early evening.      Mae Elizabeth Marsh was born circa 1915. She married Lawrence Collester Holcombe, son of Lawrence Holcombe and Lucia Frances Gleason, on 2 April 1940 at Westfield, Hampden Co., MA. Mae Elizabeth Marsh died on 12 November 2010 at Westfield, Hampden Co., MA. She was buried on 18 November 2010 at Southwick Cemetery, Southwick, Hampden Co., MA.

May E. (Marsh) Holcomb, 95, died Friday, Nov. 12th. Wife of Lawrence who died in 2004. Mother of Lawrence C. "Skip" Holcomb of Summerville, SC, Betsy A. Loehn and Patricia Sam, both of Westfield. She also leaves seven grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren and on great-great grandchild. Graveside services are Thurs. at 1:30 p.m. in Southwick Cemetery. No calling hours. The Robert E. Cusack Funeral Home, 94 Main St., Westfield is assisting family with arrangements.
