     Roswell Case was born on 20 January 1760 at Simsbury, Hartford Co., CT. He was the son of Martin Case and Lucy Adams.

     Silas Rowley Jr. was also known as Silas Rolley. He married Abigail Holcombe, daughter of Capt. Jesse Holcombe and Lovisa Pinney, on 23 September 1821 at Simsbury, Hartford Co., CT.¹

     Tryphenia Thrall was the daughter of Oliver Thrall and Wealthy Latimer. Tryphenia Thrall married Alexander Holcombe, son of Hezekiah Holcombe II and Chloe Pinney, on 15 March 1804 at Bloomfield, Hartford Co., CT.¹ Tryphenia Thrall died on 3 October 1847 at OH.

     Lovinia Holcombe was born circa 1807 at CT.² She was the daughter of Alexander Holcombe and Tryphenia Thrall. Lovinia Holcombe married Orator Pinney, son of Joseph Pinney and Asenath Adams, on 20 April 1823 at St. Andrew's Episcopal Church, Simsbury, Hartford Co., CT; Simsbury Vital Records show Lovinia was daughter of "Abra." Holcombe, while McPherson shows she is daughter of Alexander.³ Lovinia Holcombe died on 8 January 1834. She was buried at St. Andrews Episcopal Chruch, Simsbury, Hartford Co., CT.

     Orator Pinney was born in 1804. He was the son of Joseph Pinney and Asenath Adams. Orator Pinney married Lovinia Holcombe, daughter of Alexander Holcombe and Tryphenia Thrall, on 20 April 1823 at St. Andrew's Episcopal Church, Simsbury, Hartford Co., CT; Simsbury Vital Records show Lovinia was daughter of "Abra." Holcombe, while McPherson shows she is daughter of Alexander.¹ Orator Pinney died on 28 July 1827. He was buried at St. Andrews Episcopal Chruch, Simsbury, Hartford Co., CT.

     Achsah Case was born on 5 February 1802. She was the daughter of Asa Case and Sarah Robe. Achsah Case married Peter Holcombe, son of Lt. Col. Peter Holcombe and Zillah Hoskins, on 13 April 1826 at Simsbury First Church, Simsbury, Hartford Co., CT.² Achsah Case married Ariel Slater, son of Sherrod Slater and Rachel Holcombe, on 6 March 1834 at Simsbury, Hartford Co., CT.³ Achsah Case died on 2 March 1883 at West Granby, Granby, Hartford Co., CT, at age 81. She was buried at Simsbury Cemetery, Simsbury, Hartford Co., CT.⁴

     Peter Holcombe was born in 1790 at West Granby, Granby, Hartford Co., CT. He was the son of Lt. Col. Peter Holcombe and Zillah Hoskins. Peter Holcombe married Achsah Case, daughter of Asa Case and Sarah Robe, on 13 April 1826 at Simsbury First Church, Simsbury, Hartford Co., CT.² Peter Holcombe died on 22 August 1831 at Simsbury, Hartford Co., CT. He was buried at Simsbury Cemetery, Simsbury, Hartford Co., CT.³

     Ariel Slater was born on 28 September 1789 at Simsbury, Hartford Co., CT. He was the son of Sherrod Slater and Rachel Holcombe. Ariel Slater married Achsah Case, daughter of Asa Case and Sarah Robe, on 6 March 1834 at Simsbury, Hartford Co., CT.¹ Ariel Slater died in January 1852 at age 62.

     Pauline Achsah Holcombe was born on 3 April 1828.¹ She was the daughter of Peter Holcombe and Achsah Case. Pauline Achsah Holcombe married Lucius Reed on 26 April 1848 at Simsbury First Chruch, Simsbury, Hartford Co., CT. Pauline Achsah Holcombe died on 29 July 1900 at age 72; chronic Bright's disease.¹ She was buried at West Granby Cemetery, Granby, Hartford Co., CT.¹

     Lucius Reed was also known as Lucian Reed. He was born on 17 January 1828 at Barkhamsted, Litchfield Co., CT.¹ He married Pauline Achsah Holcombe, daughter of Peter Holcombe and Achsah Case, on 26 April 1848 at Simsbury First Chruch, Simsbury, Hartford Co., CT. Lucius Reed died on 9 October 1918 at age 90.¹

     Marina Sarah Holcombe was born on 30 November 1830. She was the daughter of Peter Holcombe and Achsah Case.

     Nancy Rachel Slater was born on 14 November 1839. She was the daughter of Ariel Slater and Achsah Case.

     Polly Humphrey was born on 18 March 1764 at Simsbury, Hartford Co., CT. She was the daughter of Hon. Daniel Humphrey and Rachel Phelps. Polly Humphrey married Levi Case, son of Capt. John Case and Sarah Barber, on 10 March 1785 at Simsbury, Hartford Co., CT. Polly Humphrey died on 19 January 1849 at Hartland, Hartford Co., CT, at age 84.

     Adeline Alderman died in 1814.¹ She was born in 1814.¹ She was the daughter of Timothy Alderman and Sallie West.¹

     Polly Case was born on 27 July 1789. She was the daughter of Levi Case and Polly Humphrey. Polly Case married Elizur Benjamin, son of Samuel Benjamin and Rachel Holcombe, on 14 March 1810 at Simsbury, Hartford Co., CT. Polly Case died on 11 December 1857 at Village of North Granby, Granby, Hartford Co., CT, at age 68. She was buried at Granby Center Cemetery, Granby, Hartford Co., CT.²

     Rachel Benjamin was born on 18 August 1811. She was the daughter of Elizur Benjamin and Polly Case. Rachel Benjamin died on 23 April 1863 at age 51.

     Richard Adams Jr. married Miriam Case, daughter of Noah Case Jr. and Mary Adams, on 27 February 1793 at Barkhamsted, Litchfield Co., CT.

     Luke Adams was born in 1794. He was the son of Richard Adams Jr. and Miriam Case. Luke Adams died on 26 May 1837.

     Richard Adams was born in 1797. He was the son of Richard Adams Jr. and Miriam Case. Richard Adams died on 3 July 1838.

     Mary Case was born at West Granby, Granby, Hartford Co., CT. She was the daughter of Noah Case Jr. and Mary Adams. Mary Case married Joel Tuller, son of Elijah Tuller and Sarah Case, on 26 December 1787 at West Granby, Granby, Hartford Co., CT. Mary Case died on 27 May 1805 at Simsbury, Hartford Co., CT.

     Abigail Case was born circa 1766. She was the daughter of Noah Case Jr. and Mary Adams. Abigail Case married Levi Humphrey, son of Ashbel Humphrey and Lois Caldwell, on 8 September 1790 at West Granby, Granby, Hartford Co., CT.¹

     Sarah Case was the daughter of Noah Case Jr. and Mary Adams.

     Rachel Case was the daughter of Noah Case Jr. and Mary Adams.

     Noah Case was born on 7 July 1782 at West Granby, Granby, Hartford Co., CT. He was the son of Noah Case Jr. and Mary Adams. Noah Case married Olive Case, daughter of Richard Case and Ruth Case, on 31 December 1804 at West Granby, Granby, Hartford Co., CT. Noah Case died on 13 April 1879 at age 96.

Noah and Olive were enumerated in the 1850 Granby, Hartford Co., CT federal census. Noah was a farmer age 68, Olive was 66. Jay age 32, Norris age 35, and Orrin 26, farmers, and Wealthy Hayes age 24, were also in the household.

     Levi Case was born on 25 December 1786 at West Granby, Granby, Hartford Co., CT. He was the son of Noah Case Jr. and Mary Adams. Levi Case married Anna Spencer, daughter of Ebenezer Spencer and Betsey Little. Levi Case married Lucia Farnham, daughter of Benjamin Barnham and Abigail Robe, on 11 May 1824 at Barkhamsted, Litchfield Co., CT. Levi Case died on 1 January 1859 at West Granby, Granby, Hartford Co., CT, at age 72.

     Samantha Fullerton was born on 22 February 1847 at Scioto Co., OH. She married Hiram Niles Holcombe, son of Amos Niles Holcombe and Martha Wilds, circa 1868. Samantha Fullerton died on 20 January 1933 at Madison Twp., Scioto Co., OH, at age 85.

     John Fullerton Holcombe was born on 10 September 1868 at Scioto Co., OH. He was the son of Hiram Niles Holcombe and Samantha Fullerton. John Fullerton Holcombe married Mattie Gilbert, daughter of Henry W. Gilbert and Sarah Elizabeth Gosnell, on 3 July 1892. John Fullerton Holcombe died on 4 December 1953 at Norwich Twp., Franklin Co., OH, at age 85.

     Mattie Gilbert was born on 22 February 1871. She was the daughter of Henry W. Gilbert and Sarah Elizabeth Gosnell. Mattie Gilbert married John Fullerton Holcombe, son of Hiram Niles Holcombe and Samantha Fullerton, on 3 July 1892. Mattie Gilbert died on 26 December 1947 at Franklin Co., OH, at age 76.

     Gilbert Fullerton Holcombe was born on 1 April 1893.¹ He was the son of John Fullerton Holcombe and Mattie Gilbert. Gilbert Fullerton Holcombe married Irene Isabelle Kougher, daughter of John Kougher and Anna Belle Bussert, on 29 November 1934. Gilbert Fullerton Holcombe died on 23 November 1973 at Norwich Twp., Franklin Co., OH, at age 80.¹

Gilbert was enumerated in the 1900 Norwich, Franklin Co., OH, federal census in the household of his parents John F. and Mattie. Also in the household was sister Myrtle 4 and brother Perry J. 2.

In his WWII Draft registration Card, Gilbert was residing at 130 Columbian Ave., Columbus, OH, was 49 years of age, born 4-1-1893 in Hilliards, OH; his wife was Mrs. Irene Holcomb and he worked for Capitol Properties, 145 N. High St., in Columbus.

     Irene Isabelle Kougher was born on 6 October 1910 at Fairfield Co., OH. She was the daughter of John Kougher and Anna Belle Bussert.¹ Irene Isabelle Kougher married Gilbert Fullerton Holcombe, son of John Fullerton Holcombe and Mattie Gilbert, on 29 November 1934. Irene Isabelle Kougher died on 16 October 2004 at Mill Run Care Center, Hilliard, Franklin Co., OH, at age 94.¹ She was buried on 19 October 2004 at Wesley Chapel Cemetery, Hilliard, Franklin Co., OH.¹

Irene was a registered nurse, graduating from White Cross (now Riverside) Hospital in 1931.

She also was a member of Order of Eastern Star Chapter 109.

     Brent Bowman was the son of Laddie Frank Bowman and Deanna Holcombe.

     Thomas Holcombe was the son of Thomas Holcombe. Inherited house in St. Sidwells.

     Richard Holcombe was the son of Thomas Holcombe. Richard is the first Holcombe with a marriage listed in Brancombe Records (1913). He is placed here only because of his marrige data and the fact that he named his first son William. Children are from BR (1913). Richard Holcombe married Winefred Lugg in 1554.
